KLIM shouldn't be a problem for you since you are only in the 10KM category. Just have fun.

Same for the men category. Within time=medal. Hehe... But for me, it's more than that. It's the satisfaction.

OK lar. Looks pretty allright. However, it's a very basic running vest. No ClimaLite technology. Hope I won't be soaking in my own sweat during the marathon. sweat.gif Hehe... If given the chance, I will stick to my own Adidas running vest.

Wah... Study last. blink.gif So you going for the BHP Orange Run 9KM at The Curve on 15 April 2007? I'm submitting my registration tomorrow.

QUOTE(ironrashid_2k2 @ Mar 19 2007, 06:40 PM)
ouh..i didnt take out the plastic yet..ok la, my first run medal..

pacesetter is doing 15k run..dont know when..
and larian mesra for police one..you guys wanna join aa?

and phoenix, i sometime jog until 30km, my main problem is that at one point my sock and shoes becomes wet due to my feet sweating. so during ur training or marathon did u carry extra socks? because in the end i'll sure get blisters one
*
The 15KM Pacesetters run you mention is the New Balance Pacesetters 15KM Run at Padang Merbuk on 20 May 2007. I already got my entry form and you can get it from any New Balance boutique like the one at 1 Utama or from Pacesetters itself.

I don't carry extra socks during training or the marathon. I'm glad I don't have sweaty feet. Are you wearing those ciplak socks or those running socks? I'm wearing ankle running socks. And the shoes that I wore for yesterday's KLIM 2007 is considered new, only a month's old but I already seasoned it and I didn't get any blisters. Adidas rocks! thumbup.gif

where to register for BHP orange run?? i didnt saw any application form on star newspaper...
*
It's organised by Malay Mail so of course you won't find any details in The Star newspaper. LOLz... tongue.gif You can get the details and application form from this website.

http://www.bhpetrol.com.my/events_orange_run.htm

Submission of forms is at Stadium Petaling Jaya at SS7 Kelana Jaya, near LG Service Centre and Income Tax Department. The stadium is the one where rugby is held also. The office is facing the LG Service Centre and got label Orange Run registration. You won't miss it.

judging on the route map, i think there will be lot of uphill slope... not going to be an easy route.

Shouldn't think this way. It's all in your mind. If you ever think this way even before the run, you have already fail big time in your first step. Be positive.

is it the same place where the PJ half marathon is held?

or it is the stadium that we normally pass by along LDP?

not really familiar with Kelana Jaya.
*
I'm not sure where is the PJ Half Marathon held. And the stadium we passed along LDP, not that. If you go further down, just after Kelana Seafood Centre, there is a turning to the left. There is an advertisement on LG Service Centre there. Just turn left and go straight all the way. You will pass MAS training centre on your right. At the end, turn right and go straight for a short distance till you reach a traffic light. Turn right there and go straight. The stadium is on your left. Tips: It's near Kelana Centre Point if you know where is that. Hope this will help you. Cheers... smile.gif

Hmm... Maybe you should call the people in charge there like Mr. Ramalingam (012-3888389) or Mr. K. Yogasveran (016-3222961) to ask about it. You will need the receipt to collect your bibs.

Hmm... I'm not sure where is the PJ Half Marathon held cause I just started running September 2006. Anyway, the collection of bibs and stuff is at Stadium Petaling Jaya, next to LG Service Centre and Income Tax Department as I mentioned earlier.

Oh yeah... You are a member of Pacesetters right. I might need your help cause I'm interested in joining them. But I do not know how and where to register. I will prefer to register by hand rather than mailing them. You know where is their office? According to the New Balace Pacesetters 15KM Run application form, their address is somewhere in Old Klang Road.

There is nothing to be disappointed. You did well in finishing the run. Take this as a lesson for future runs. Good luck.

Thanks. I think should be the same stadium then. As I said, if can find LG service centre, then can already. As for the entries, its stated in the form that only 2000 runners woh. Didnt say anything about t-shirt. And I saw in Malay Mail, finishers will get a polo bag.

Anyway, those participating in the Orange Run, wanna gather and meet up?

Added on March 23, 2007, 11:55 amI just finish drawing this simple map to Stadium Petaling Jaya. Hope it helps and doesn't further confuse any of you. blush.gif Take note of the placing of the Orange dot at the Stadium Petaling Jaya, cause that is where the office is. Don't need to go look all the corners of the stadium cause the office is a bit hidden.

No problem. Just a simple sketch. And yes, The Orange Run will start and end at the Piazza area at the Curve. It's actually the area between The Curve and Cineleisure.

At night eh. Interesting but I think now there will be damn a lot of "rempits" around KL city during night time. Not a very good idea unless the cops can do something about it.

So you handed in your registration form for Orange Run already?
