QUOTE(arrowhead @ Sep 18 2006, 04:22 PM)
Anybody did the Mizuno 10k last Sunday? Had an "ok" time of 1.02... target under 1-hour but I totally knocked out by all the hills at Bukit Tunku! We then made our way to the Terry Fox nearby and soaked in the carnival-like atmosphere and joined in the 3km walk...
*
your timing for 10km is slightly better than mine drool.gif the best i archieve for 10km is 1hr05min in Subang 10km 4yrs back..........

eversince my performance is deterioriating due to lack of training doh.gif

15.... good to be young though

pakai apa jua kasut yang you rasa selesa, jika Power lebih sesuai pakai lah Power. Juara dunia 3km dari Kenya lari kaki ayam shakehead.gif

jika you nak train 3km, boleh pergi Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. Sana 1 pusingan besar = 2.8km. Dulu i pun sentiasa lari sana.

Nanti otot cedera lagi susah.

Submission of forms is at Stadium Petaling Jaya at  SS7 Kelana Jaya, near LG Service Centre and Income Tax Department.

is it the same place where the PJ half marathon is held?

or it is the stadium that we normally pass by along LDP?

not really familiar with Kelana Jaya.

anyway, PJ Half Marathon has the worse route out of the 3 run that i take part regularly. running along federal highway n ldp is never easy due to high volume of traffic even in early morning, especially the part near Western Digital.

will try to print out the form n get it mailed by saturday. btw, the orange run only limited to 2,000 participants? im affraid that by the time my entry form reach the organiser, the applicants will exceed 2000 d...

base on your map, i think stadium petaling jaya and stadium kelana jaya is the same location. it is the same collection center for PJ half marathon also.

will post the form tomorrow, hopefully can reach the organiser on time before the dateline on 4-april.

Added on March 23, 2007, 5:09 pm hmm.gif i think the route for Power Run will be similar to Malay Mail Big Walk, Bukit Tunku part will be steep...

i will take this opportunity to overtake other competitors smile.gif

normally i will only walk when i am really out of gas.

anyone of you take part in LARIAN MERDEKA in KL before? i participate once during high school many years ago and miss the event very much since it is the only running event that held at night.

for the Larian Mesra, where should we park our car? seems to me that nearby the venue-IPK does not have many space for parking except for those pay carpark which i doubt they will open in early morning.

not necessary only limited to Bkt Aman, Pacesetter has their own running community in most major township in KL. once you get the newsletter from pacesetter, you can get the contact for the running group in your respective area.
