ibbrio: is about 2.7km from from acacia park to BTP interchange at Latar highway. The interchange will complete at mid 2016 however the road from acacia park to near BTP 6 will start mid 2015. No traffic light.

If you exit from BTP interchage at LATAR highway, you need to exit at Persimpangan Kuang. At persimpangan Kuang you have option either to enter Plus highway to KL / Ipoh or Guthrie Highway to Kota Damansara/Subang/Bukit Jelutong. From BTP interchange to Kuang interchange is about 8km less than 5 minute drive and need to pay RM2 tol before enter PLUS or Guthrie Highway. If you enter PLUS highway, and exit at Jalan Duta tol, you need to pay RM2.90. If you continue the LATAR highway and not enter PLUS or Guthrie highway, you will exit at Templer park to continue drive at Jalan Kuching and you need to pay another RM2 before exit at persimpangan templer.

Once Plus Highway Rawang Selatan exit Sg.Serai/Kuang/Kundang Jaya complete, we may escape RM2 tol at LATAR highway. The distance from BTP 3 to exit sg.Serai is around 7km, however you need to pass thru bandar baru kundang, kundang industrial park and sg.serai. Is around 12min drive due to road condition not so good.

thanks abang
sound like very smooth and easy
i have no issue paying multiple tolls
the most important is connectivity and smooth
and not round one big round
must be direct connect here and there and not like drive one big circle then only connect
from your above description sounds very good so wait for one day to try...

still not that clear...
the latar should be after puncak alam interchange right?
what is the interchange name to connect to Guthrie Corridor?
what is the interchange name to connect to PLUS heading to Penang?

seems no direct connection to PLUS heading to KL except use Guthrie first then connect to PLUS

LATAR interchange to BTP right now is thru Kundang, not Puncak Alam. But if what the developer is telling us is true, there will be another interchange that will connect directly to BTP itself. I think that map is not updated.

For Guthrie, I don't know if they have a specific interchange name. If they do, maybe it is Guthrie interchange? lol

You are right. From LATAR, there is no direct connection to PLUS. You have to enter Guthrie first, then PLUS. But when you exit LATAR into Guthrie, it is really a short distance to the PLUS exit. After the interchange, you will straight away meet the exit toll to PLUS, then you will exit thru Rawang South.

I know this because I'm a regular user of LATAR to go to work in KL. I am planning to buy a unit in BTP since the accessibility after the BTP interchange completed will be very good.

updated: I've attached the most representative map of LATAR (IMO). You can refer to that.

For the time being, BTP to LATAR, you need to use Kundang Interchange (LATAR). 2 options to go to KL (through highways):

via PLUS - from Kundang Interchange (LATAR) go straight to Rawang Selatan toll (PLUS)

via Guthrie - from Kundang Interchange (LATAR) go straight to Lagong toll (Guthrie)

thanks man
i got my earlier map from latar site
looks like their map is not even updated...sigh

BTP current price probably already included the latar interchange but highways can be delayed so nothing concrete IMO until it is ready...
so the question is wait or buy now?

i assume no jam since so many connections and tolls?
means if stay in acacia can have stress free smooth drive all the way to company?
less people use? but KL side always jam at jalan duta

From BTP entrance, approximately 5 km to Kundang Interchange but you need to go through pekan Kampung Baru Kundang.... so at peak hours, maybe you will be facing traffic jam over there.

I myself has no answer to that question. Last week when I visited BTP booth in MAPEX at Mid Valley, they expect 30% capital appreciation once the interchange is completed, and their selling price is going to be higher as well. If you think BTP has a good prospect and you trust the developer's word, maybe right now is the time to buy especially if you're considering Acacia Park. They're selling like hot cake.

Everyday got jam one. No matter if you go thru PLUS and exit Jalan Duta or you exit Templer Park thru LATAR. But the overall commuting for me right now to work is around one hour. My office is in KLCC area. For me, that commuting time is good enough. If I'm planning to continue this driving for the future, maybe I need to find a car with excellent FC to save on fuel money biggrin.gif

just buy existed houses in BTP....cheaper & bigger.

if you compared current market price houses in BTP, new houses in BTP are over priced.

Developer also dont show any progress of LATAR but already charge high prices. they have cheat once...they will cheat twice.

These were the main reason I bought the house in BTP circa 2009 but none of the amenities exist and I felt cheated by the developer and I hope this will come true in near future not in 10 more years..ohhh btw Mah Sing also promises mall or hypermarket if it true that is our only hope in near future
*
Promises can always be forgotten regardless anybody, perhaps Mah Sing can work it out and then would benefit the M Residence and BTP residents

I booked a unit. I was looking for gated and guarded, could not afford the ones nearer to the city. Besides the price, the showhouse impressed me as well, simple design. Fingers and toes now crossed that 2 years down the road, the exit to LATAR is open and more life to the township, all on the developer.

Lowyat group has the record gave empty promise about the latar interchange (according to forumer here). I visited the site recently and see nothing solid come out, no piling or structure is up. LYG used the interchange to attract the early phase buyer and who know the they will just continue to postpone it due to watsover reason. SA keep telling me the news is out on paper and this and that, and I ask when is the first pile to be driven on ground, no one can answer. Perhaps LYG can advise here?
