Yup that one I agree.

But to be fair they have done their part for the road upgrade inside the taman as part of the deal for latar exit with ukas. I see better roads now with double lane.

But unfortunately I believe dirty politics and corporate tussle between 3 big companies, state gov and LLM wont allow this to go through smoothly.

Frankly, I do not see the point for us to blame on LYG in the LATAR Interchange construction even though they use it in their promotion. They have done their parts. The rest is up to other parties (including state and federal government together) who involved in the construction of LATAR Interchange to bring the project into completion. Unless you have bought the properties in BTP and solely depending on the LATAR Interchange to earn a living... Haiz... Regardless of how frustrated we are, let us pray for the best as we cannot contribute anything instead of blaming LYG alone in this issue if the due date for the project is again postponed.

Upgrading & maintenance of roads within their own project is LYG responsibility until handed over to local council I guess. Without the LATAR interchange, many of us wouldn't have bought into this project.

Agree with you treblecase, that's the main reason I bought. I asked the sales reps at least 5 times before paying the booking. The delay is definitely a set back but what to do, jam for 5-15 years before a miracle happens.

will definitely do a site survey this weekend. I been to Rawang town before, but this township seems to be further inside. Unless LATAR is there I guess

Glad to hear about it. Do share with us about your opinions toward BTP after your site visit. If you are from KL or Sungai Buluh, you may try LATAR Highway, then exit through Kundang and into BTP.

Hi treblecase and to all who have posted on this subject,
As we have clarified numerous times on this matter, let us repeat once again that the Latar interchange will definitely be constructed and it is not a sales gimmick as some claimed. LYG have not only invested substantially but will be courting trouble if the interchange does not materialize as we have publicly announced the interchange will be constructed. We have said before that the relevant parties are resolving the land matter, and hopefully it will be resolved soon in the next few months. An announcement will be made once this is resolved.

Hi khairul, this forum is meant to be constructive, and if there is a problem or any suggestion we will listen. Glad your rubbish is not a problem now. We will ask our maintenance team to inform MPS on the stray dogs.

Hi PTP, our reply to your questions above are as follows:

1. As you are aware GVP was developed more than 10 years ago. We have informed MPS about the road conditions which need to be re premixed. As long as the roads that are not handed over to MPS, LYG will continue to maintain. As to the entrance statement we have repainted it several times before and we will ask our maintenance team to check on this, including the overgrown plants.

2. As to the 2 lane roads, these roads will be upgraded to 4 lanes, which will be done progressively as we continue to improve the overall roads and drains.

3. As to the street lighting, we have contacted MPS Street Lighting dept several times to repair those lights that are not functioning. In fact MPS has been repairing the faulty lights as we have communicated with them on this matter.
We have also asked our maintenance dept to check on those faulty areas. We will be constructing new street lighting posts on certain areas that are not completed.

4. The exit/connection has been explained earlier.

5. We have not only improved/upgrade Garden heights areas but also the landscape, roads and drains along the ring road and other areas. Garden heights being a newly launched area will definitely benefit from the new designs, landscaping etc. As we have mentioned GVP has been developed many years ago, and even some of the houses and compound are not kept in good condition. However we are continuing to upgrade the whole of BTP but this will be done in stages.

6. On the Dewan, we have just been told that MPS is intending to build a Dewan at the central park location. We cannot build any dewan/community hall on the land that are zoned for public institutions as these belong/surrendered to the government.

We hope our explanation will suffice for the time being until further progress will be reported.

So Admin LYG lepas ni tugas awak adalah supaya mengupdate segala aktiviti kerja pemulihan jalan,lanskap,lampu jalan,susur Latar dan segala perkara yang anda nyatakan tadi,saya syorkan pihak anda hendaklah mengupdate setiap 2 minggu sekali dan sertakan gambar gambar aktiviti tersebut di laman forum LYN ini tanpa gagal bermula minggu ini dan ingat bukan hanya di garden height sahaja tetapi di Green Valley Park yang dah lama terbiar ni ok.Dengan cara ni kita semua dalam forum ni dapat maklumat dan gambaran yang sejelas jelasnya.lepas ni takdalah LYG Kena complain banyak banyak.

Haiisshh Mr Yuin Chuan Sri please la jangan menyampuk melebih lebih.saya yang suruh LYG admin yang buat pun.Kan itu dah memang tanggungjawab diaorang la.Kalau awak noticed LYG admin ada berjanji untuk mengupdate pasal Exit Latar tu Last gambar yang LYG update pada Aug 2015 dan tiada update susulan.Tapi sekarang apa sudah jadi.Tak salah rasanya saya sebagai salah seorang pemilik rumah dalam kawasan BTP ni untuk pushed LYG ni kalau tak kerja slow lembab.Kalau saya takde masa la buang masa nak ambik ambik gambar jer.Saya bukan pekerja LYG.

Sorry, boss... Saya ingat Putera Tasik Puteri duduk di area BTP lebih senang nak mengambil gambar lampu jalan waktu malam yang rosak dan selepas dibaiki. Kadang2 tempat yang rosak itu orang lain tak tau dengan tulisan dan memerlukan gambar2 untuk rujukan. Lagipun, saya fikirkan kamu putera sejati di BTP (bukan pekerja LYG)...

In a few months time, the Sg.Serai interchange (which connects to the PLUS Rawang Selatan highway) will be completed and it might be useful for those BTP folks as well.
