I dont think the problem with the latar exit will be solved in the near future. Probably everyone can wait another 5 years at least. I live very near to the proposed latar exit and my uncle live here as well for the last 8 years. We know very well the mulut manis of LYG.

Whatever LYG said u can just take with a pinch of salt. Not their fault though..they are just developer who wants to make money with whatever land they have. The proposed exit has too many hands in it not just LYG. Like i said before i dont think we will see it in 5 years time.

I know LYG has done a lot for the township but main connection is out of their control. Or maybe the influence they have for the process is only about 30% unless they want to splash crazy money. Which will never happen.

Its a shame because this township got so much potential. Even better than semenyih or kajang area IMO. The only drawback is the latar exit. Thankfully kundang exit already completed. But it is so poorly planned u can see the effect on the traffic. Even ppl from country homes is using the exit. Increase in population will just worsen the problems.

It is LYG's fault if they continue to use the LATAR interchange in their promotion.

Yup that one I agree.

But to be fair they have done their part for the road upgrade inside the taman as part of the deal for latar exit with ukas. I see better roads now with double lane.

But unfortunately I believe dirty politics and corporate tussle between 3 big companies, state gov and LLM wont allow this to go through smoothly.

Hi wut2du, both KTM and Telekom are Private GLCs, meaning they are profit oriented. They will not invest in high capex if the returns are not there. I have mentioned before that Telekom had suffered very substantial losses in Bukit Beruntung, and we have also met the top decision makers. Because of this misfortune they have reviewed their SOP and need to substantiate to their Board for approval before they are permitted to invest in any high cost infrastructure. This applies everywhere and not only in BTP. Like wise, similarly we want the LRT to come to BTP if we can. Obviously we can't because it involves huge capital outlay. If this does not make sense then we don't know what will.

Hi LYG,

Again thats a poor excuse on your part or TM themselves. Streamyx subscription is at all time high in BTP and we are not even allowed to have more than 1mbps due to the reason that they need to spread the bandwith with lots of people applying for streamyx. During peak time EVERYDAY the speed even goes down to 300-500 kbps.

TM comparing with smaller and farther bukit beruntung is ridiculous. They just want to milk money from btpians without upgrading infra because we are desperate for good internet connection. very poor 1mbps will do.

What you need to do is to ask them to upgrade streamyx at least to get a consistent 1 mbps. Ive called them countless time but with no solution.

Bear in mind that streamyx 1mbps price is rm110. Unifi is 149 for 5mbps. Its not a problem for us to subscribe to unifi as even with the very inconsistent 1mbps we still tolerate and pay 110.

I found this quite annoying as BTP are not that far from major town like sg buloh. Probably only 10 km

I can help you compile my speedtest result for two weeks everyday for example and we can bring this matter to TM.
