QUOTE(jagjeet1999 @ Dec 29 2014, 02:45 PM) but Yuin Chuan See is like a parrot repeating what ever other people reply for me is very annoying . Thank you, Mr./Mrs./Ms. Jagjeet1999 whoever you are. Hopefully, I will be a less annoying parrot in the future (but I insist that I DO NOT REPEAT what ever other people reply). Instead, I show my appreciating response and simply REPLY the questions posted/comments by other forum members as I am actively browsing the LYG forum. QUOTE(amhaziq013 @ Dec 29 2014, 11:38 AM) Hi - amhazip, BTP since its inception 15 years ago has not experience any flooding, except some stretches of roads that were uneven. As you can see BTP comprises of undulating land, the lowest area are the golf course where the ponds are located. So no problem at all. The uneven roads are gradually being improved and upgraded, and by next year most of the roads will be upgraded. We have also spent a lot of money improving the drainage system, as this is one of the main cause of flooding in any development. |

QUOTE(ummunawfal @ Dec 29 2014, 10:07 AM) Glad to hear that then...the BTP township before has gained a reputation 4 being ONLY strictly a residential town ( no petrol station, lack of commercial buildings such as shopping mall etc, access to highway is oso far n that is before LATAR came into the da picture lahhh) so....really hope dat LYG will seriously transform the BTP township as they promised. Hi - ummunawfal, as we have explained before, we have big plans for BTP, and we intend to transform BTP into a premier township complete with full facilities. It will take some time to put all the plans into reality, but we are progressing and in due time you will be able to see some of the improvements. Other than the PETRONAS service station, we have confirmed 2 other service stations, Shell and Caltex and the operators told us that they are negotiating with some fast food franchise to join in. You can also see that our commercial centre, Medan Puteri, we have started work to increase the shopping/office blocks and these are modern design commercial buildings. We are also talking to some commercial banks to locate in BTP. The large plot of land beside the Mosque where earthworks are being carried out are targeted for commercial buildings, including a supermarket, show rooms etc. We have also earmarked a piece of land for a University to be located at the commercial area. For your information we have already signed an agreement for an international school, and they expressed their confidence at what BTP has to offer. As with any growing township the PDRM (Police) have also obtained approval to build a brand new Police station. The above are only some of the plans we can reveal at this point of time. We will keep everyone informed of any new developments. |

Another 'hidden' defect that my friend found at his house Garden Height Phase 2. He tried to look for few other houses in his row, it have the same problem also. The roof slab at 2nd floor balcony not fully cement/plaster by contractor. Luckily he climb there, then we all know the defect that might be lead to leaking again..aiseh!!! |

It will take some time to put all the plans into reality, but we are progressing and in due time you will be able to see some of the improvements. I have been in this township since 2000, and as at to date can confirm no flood at all except some of the road due to uneven & poor drainage system. We will keep everyone informed of any new developments. What I can see begin early of 2014 (finally after more than 10 years), LYG is in the midst to solve this problem as it is also one of the requirement by government under Unit Kerjasama Awam Swasta (UKAS) agreement where LYG need to upgrade the township infrastructures, roads, drainage, etc. before the government can release the fund for the BTP interchange project. If not because of UKAS fund I don't think LYG will seriously upgrade the township and the interchange will be there by 2016. For that, BIG THANKS for UKAS! In terms of size, yes BTP is huge compare with the neighbor. However, within 3 years the neighbor managed to transform their township such in a good way, but not for BTP since its inception 15 years ago. 15 years was a long time frame, suppose BTP can transform from zero to hero. All the coming projects/plans mentioned by LYG are good to read & GREAT if it can happen. As current resident, sorry to say I'm little bit skeptical even still have faith (and hope after UKAS came in the picture) with LYG on any projects/plans until it is realize. Since LYG gained their seriouness to the township after more than 10 years, than I just believe in LYG actions. |

just compare land side of these two projects...Setia Alam and BTP...both are same size , one at extreme north and the other one at extreme south. I believe BTP got a head start earlier than Setia alam.
10 years on....shame on BTP whereas Setia Alam already achieved the best township for average to above average income earners. direct access to NKVE done Tertiary education done Hypermarkets done Neigbourhood mall done Car sales and service centres done Badminton Academy done commercial areas done longest pasar malam in malaysia done park land and jogging tracks done Mass market apartments done Wat has BTP achieved in the last 15 years???? |

By that time Elmina already become full fledged township, and LYG strategy to depend or anchor on other developers development will indeed show intended results. |

I believe LYG have to prove and make better homes for the new buyers compare to Mah Sing development which is doing very well . I have been to the site couple of times to check the construction and i saw Bangladeshi and Indonesian building the houses no malaysian was around i believe we need more Malaysian to be onsite and monitor the foreign workers and better QC/Defect team to build quality homes has they promised. I am GH phase 3 buyer. I hope the developer is not rushing to build the houses. |

I am GH phase 3 buyer. I hope the developer is not rushing to build the houses. I have never check the construction site before so I don't know exactly what's going on. If what you're saying is true, it doesn't seem like LYG is taking a good care of QA/QC process. Every other construction site should have supervisor to ensure the workers are not doing sub-standard job. Addressing the build quality issue after the construction is done is rather more troublesome than ensuring great quality from the start! Reading through the comments here and also hearing from the people that I've met, it seems that new buyers are putting a lot of trust and faith to LYG to deliver the township that they are planning while the BTP oldies are tired and think those 'plannings' are too good to be true. Yes, this is not the thought of everyone, but that is the outcome of my own observation, so do not punish me for expressing my own thought. I have said this again and again, LYG have to prove their commitment with BTP and deliver their so called big plans for them to restore their reputation. In order to do that, make sure all the little things are addressed. Delivering quality product is of utmost importance! |

QUOTE(khairul25 @ Dec 30 2014, 12:49 PM) please ts give an explanation? dont just bla bla bla we do this we do that, but can't give a satisfied answer to the buyer. please recheck back the pamphlet you give before, the sink is located at windows side. there is no suggestion to us regarding the sink located before. i also could attach the hardcopy of the pamphlet. Hi - Khairul, We have already explained that it was a genuine printing error. The approved building plan indicates the correct position of the sink and the contractor install it according to approved drawings. |

After more than 10 years of waste, no matter how, this is the time for LYG to prove their seriousness to the BTP by deliver the good quality products as well as to speed up their efforts to upgrade the township.
