If you guys actually read the article from NST that he attached previously, you can see "promotional materials including brochures advertising housing developments prevail over the Sale and Purchase agreement itself" from the first paragraph. The consequent paragraphs are the explanation to the mentioned statement.

I would suggest you read through the S&P again and find if there is any clause that actually goes against the mentioned Act from the article. If there is none, the is a chance for you to challenge this; provided that you are willing to hire a lawyer for yourself and challenge them because they won't do anything if you just keep bugging them here or submit a complaint.

Can you request the webmaster to update in the BTP website masterplan location of the police station and international school.

Can i know where the location of this international school and when is expected to start the construction.

We were so disappointed that our first home turned out to be such a defective house. For sure we are going to contact the Operations Manager. But by looking at the progress, does that mean that during this period of time we are not allowed to carry out any renovation work until all defects are fixed? So to ensure that defect liability period is not void. We are looking at moving in by mid of this year and do not hope that our plan get dragged on by such issue sad.gif

after reading the comments from current n previous buyers on their unit defects, n plus the way LYG answers back the buyers complaints which is not convincing, cancel my plan to buy LYG products.

Hi Billy, Acacia Ph2 official launch will most likely be in March this year. We expect to get our AP/DL in February. For the month of January we will be launching our Seiring Semi detach houses. Details will be posted soon.

Hi layhoon, We are giving our contractors 1 month from the date of lodging the defects list. We do not foresee any delay as most of the complaints can be rectified within this period. The reason why the defects should be completed before any renovation works are carried out is to avoid any ambiguity, whether additional defects are existing or caused by the renovation contractor. For example during renovation the contractor could puncture the pipes/wiring that is embedded in the wall, and it is extremely difficult to identify the culprit. This is standard with all developers. However we believe we will be reasonable if the defects are caused by us then we will rectify it.

Hi khairul, we have checked the approved drawings by MPS, which indicates the actual location of the sink and moreover in the SPA, it does not show the location of the sink (normally SPA do not indicate the location of fittings). We repeat that this is a genuine printing error and our sincere apologies.

Thank you LYG for your sincere answers and respond in this forum. We, the first-home-buyers will always hope for the best from what LYG can deliver to us. The defects mentioned by the other forum members should be handled thoroughly and ASAP as they need to renovate their house (which consume a little time) and move into it for the planned family activities. We, the buyers from the other project/phase developed by LYG wish that LYG able to reduce the defects as low as possible and possibly to be nil defect. As some other forum members might have spread the negative comments around based on the complaints filed or shared, we really hope the next project/phase can receive the positive feedback within this forum. In my opinion, I have witnessed buyers from Garden Height Phase 2 who moved into their house claimed that they are confident with the products delivered from LYG. So, my faith is always with LYG and not to forget LYG is among the oldest and most respectful developer in Malaysia (as how my father recalls The Federal KL Hotel which is built by LYG years back has been used for national/official events those time by our First Prime Minister even until today). Perhaps LYG can also keep us up-to-date with the progress of construction sites (pictures and descriptions) at Garden Height Phase 3-5, Medan Puteri 2 and Acacia Park; and also the actions taken to repair the defects mentioned by the forum members as to bring back the faith of those who doubt/inquire about it. It's Advertising Permit & Developer's License. Without this, the developer is not allowed to 'openly' advertise and sell their product
