stars helen mirren, (the late) alan rickman, aaron paul.

similar issues but more politics than ethan hawkes' good kill. 3/5.

The Huntsman: Winter's War is really nothing glorious, maybe even kiddish, and nowhere near LOTR/hobbit, but is interesting enough to keep u watching. best of all, all big stars - Chris Hemsworth (thor), Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt (edge of tomorrow), Jessica Chastain (zero dark thirty).

de niro is certainly a movie legend.

he shares with al pacino as my fav 2 of all time.

and agree... as they get older, their lighter roles in newer and mediocre movies do not catch my attention anymore.

for me, deniro is most noted for godfather 2, heat and ronin.

heat, in fact, is the only movie where the two movie legends showed their best in contrasting opposites sides.

i rate it the 2nd best crime movie, godfather trilogy being no. 1.

The poster are wonderful. The trailer is exciting. The plot was something expected. Some human creation from another world. Yes, we have seen that before. This movie does nothing much except some typical scenes. Each time you feel the thrill, the next scene just kill that feeling straight away. The father protects his son very well but somehow I felt annoying. It's very draggy and slow pace. Midnight special is not that special. I don't agree with the IMDB's rating at all. Truly disappointed! Movie tips - Kirsten Dunst is damn old and lazy!

This movie is good for 3D led tv. Superb CGI graphics. The storyline was just above average because I think I've seen something like this elsewhere. Gods is slightly taller and bigger than humans! Anyway credit where it's due for the effort the producers put into this movie. The rating is quite fair. The fight scenes were great and the message towards the end was the icing on the cake. Recommended. Movie tips - Two eyes is better than one eye!
