A classic psycho babysitter movie. Everything was pretty decent about this movie. Good acting by some of the main casts. The kids were adorable! Personally I thought the film maker could make the suspense scenes more intense and more nail biting moment but it seems limited. Overall the movie was watchable but definitely not the best thriller I've seen. There are many more better than this but good enough if you have no other choices. It seems to me that this movie was made at a very low budget. Movie tips - Stop employing new babysitter now!

simple, same old plot. not better than like olympus has fallen.

gerald butler, aaron eckhart, morgan freeman stars.

one outstanding thing i noticed - every bullet fired by butler kills an enemy but no bullet fired by a thousand baddies can get to him. man of steel, nice.

but i did like the dtshdma audio with all those bullets and stingers zipping and zapping away. 2.5/5.

I never understood why this movie was highly rated. This is some weird freaking dark comedy horror. I never seen anything like this before as far as I remembered. Jack aka Henry Rollins played a superb social outcast role. It keeps me awake until the end as I was left figuring what was the story about besides trying to save the life of his daughter that he couldn't care less. This dude simply won't die despite so many villains trying to hurt and kill him! A vampire? A monster? An angel? For dark comedy horror fans, you might just want to try this movie out. It's related with some kind of Christian thing. Movie tips - Blood, bullets and bingo!

A slow pace drama/thriller. I was clueless the first half of the movie. This movie was too calm! As the plot thickens, I slowly started to understand. I don't think I can agree with the IMDB's high rating or probably will never agreed at all. This is not a bad movie with all the decent casting especially Tom Hardy aka Bob but if you are into a slow moving show, this might be the one you're looking for. Movie tips - Silence is golden!

This is not a comedy clown movie. This clown is brutal! The first half was fine but suddenly it feels like a B grade horror flick. It might take a longer time to digest the storyline but nothing complicated. I don't really like Laura Allen's aka Meg acting skill in this movie. She looks too calm about everything. Overall this is not a bad movie but a fun dark thriller. Many shocking violent scenes. Horror fans might want to check it out. Your kids will never be the same again when they see a clown after watching this movie! Movie tips - No more clown for any party!

Independence Day (20th Anniversary Edition) 1996 (2016 release)

Picture this, 1996, me and a couple of friends, drove up to K.L. for a day trip.

Objective?

To watch the movie, called Independence Day.

Leading up to this, I bought the Trading Cards, read the novel, and even then I was so excited, I did not sleep much the nite b4, (bad, I was the designated driver).

Got the One Utama, got our tickets, and THE movie started and IT WAS WORTH IT!!!

Twenty years later, even owning the 2008 release, I had to get my hands on the 20 Anniversary version?

Why, well, there is JUST something about the movie, and more importantly, this is a brand new remaster (because Fox is releasing this on 4K so one would assuming this bluray is from the same remaster)!!!!

So, is it worth is!!!

O.M.G. is it ever!

Compared to the 2008 release, the difference is Night and Day!!

The details, color, depth (and also an Extended Cut) all much MUCH better!

If you have not watched this, or if you are thinking of getting this, THIS is the version to get (unless you or one lucky fellow who had invested in 4K TV and UHD player, then maybe the 4K version is better)

I cannot emphasis how much better this remaster edition is.

And plus, the movie STILL magic!

Three high school friends are forced to commit a brazen robbery which quickly goes horribly wrong.

This is a modern flick robbery movie. Viewers will experience flashback plots. Never expect a crime will go smooth and you'll never know what's coming. I enjoyed the movie and all the casting were good. I would recommend this movie and I doubt you will feel disappointed but expect nothing bad nor great. Movie tips - Get a better mask!

i hope roland emmerich and dean devlin will not disappoint us.

of all emmerich-devlin films, i say independence day and stargate were the most outstanding.

so, i hope they will also do a real sequel to stargate in the near future, time to kill off all the old tv franchise once and for all.

Great comedy about working in Google. I enjoyed this movie very much. The combination of Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn were awesome. Both has this natural funny chemistry. Besides being comical this movie teaches us about working as a group, chasing your dream and it's never too late to learn anything. Recommended for comedy fans.

Jeepers Creepers (2001)

Wow, it's kinda a reruns for me these few days.

This also got a new remaster and also new special features!!!

This movie never looked better.

Do not compare it to, let's say Avatar (this is after all a pretty low budget movie).

But compared to it's previous releases (DVD and Bluray) this is the best it has looked.

This movie is basically a road trip.

Brother and Sister going back home from college for spring break.

Instead of taking the highway they decided to use the scenic route.

Can they bumped into something they should not have bumped into.

Basically this is a creature feature.

The first half of the movie was just BRILLIANT.

The second half, because of budget constraints, the director did not get to tell the story he had written but did not filmed.

Even then, it is a pretty darn good scary movie.

Interested to note that this is Justin Long's third feature.

He and his sister's reaction is from the the point of view of the audience.

Jeepers Creepers II (2003)

What do you do, if a small movie you put out there, which you had not much high hopes for makes alot of money??

Well. You make a sequel.

The original team came back

Writer/Director Victor Salva got more money and control on the project.

Not as original as the first, but as sequels goes, it is actually decent.

This take place (in terms of time frame) quite close to the first movie.

About a bunch of high school students, trapped on a broken down bus, on a desolated country road.

The "creature" is slightly difference and definitely more "cheeky".

If you like the first, you would like this.

Again, movie never looked better.

kung fu panda 3 is good. story is simple but has excellent animation, great soundtrack. and good fun.

i can't say it's better than panda 1 or 2, but is good enough 3.5/5.

probably the best animated film since croods and lego movie.

now, we await finding dory!
