this noise is only happened few seconds on cold start, I guess lifter noise will always there even after warm up.

75k only after 6.5 years. The engine is still in very good condition as I am using SN0w30 FS oil.

i see okay, great. i always use the hybrid oil, SN0W-20, not bad, but they say a bit too thin, is that so?

My personal opinion is that if you don't hard rev your car often, the 0w20 oil will work just fine. Don't worry too much about it.

hmm. rev hard once in a while only. not all the time. also, gotta maintain the car well since am gonna use it for a long time.

wa...very ambitious target...you'll probably need an engine and transmission rebuild at intervals of around 400k km (max drag to 500k)...

Hopefully still got spare parts available by the time you reach the 2nd rebuild.

any review for Petronas Syntium SN7000 0W/40 and Syntium SM3000 5W/40? both come with cooltech..

Hey there, was just wondering if Honda service centres do not sell engine oils for walk-in customers?

Most likely the don't but there's no point buying from SC. They are selling SN0w30 for around RM200 when you can get it at authorised Honda parts dealer for RM160 to 165.

Last time I went to SC & wanted to buy 1 bottle of type 2 coolant. They don't sell it unless you service your car with them.

What's the option I should go for? I am not always using the car, should I pick semi synthetic instead of fully?

But can a semi synth oil last 6 months? I.don't think i will.reach the mileage before 6 months.
