This door lock mean after u get off from you car and you do not press the button on handle to lock you car, then you walk away and after 30 sec it detect your smart key not near the car and it will auto lock you car.

Initially i thought was after the car start moving...it will lock itself after 30 seconds.

BTW, another question.
Whenever i lock the car using the button on smart key... the only blink once WITHOUT sound or beep ? Is this a defect or normal ?

I faced this in 2nd gen. W/o sound but door still locked so I never bother

mine is ckd and has sound when u lock the door using the lock button in fob key.

You could probably try increasing the volume of the beep? I found mine a bit too soft at default setting, so i bumped it up a notch.

I think this setting works this way:

1. Unlock door using smart key
2. However didn't open the door
3 door will be auto lock in 30sec as per the setting

Finally reach my 1000km service .
Just for your information, the 3 years free service & maintenance will only provide you a Semi Synthetic and not a full synthetic oil for your oil change...quite disappointed !

Would it make a big difference if use fully syn? The SC don't give option to upgrade to fully syn oil so just top up?
