I bought LLumar Crystal 6 through my sales agent (Jim).... as for price... I think better for you to ask him directly.... sweat.gif

Like previous member commented, ride a bit stiff...... wind noise and tyre noise a bit loud.. IStop is annoying ....... other than that, so far so good....

I'm upgrading from an old 1.3 Myvi Manual.... so.... every car in this segment is an obvious upgrade to me.... my opinion might be bias..... haha tongue.gif

Blocking the air-cond vent, not an issue meh?

My previous car, I used to just tie a rope across the air-cond vent with slag, then fix the phone with flip casing (flip to the back) and just hang the phone below the air-cond vent... I even manage to find a suitable slag to hang my Ipad mini ..... nod.gif Something like this:-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3kRdYG9IXo

but with more rope slag so that it don't block the air-cond vent ..... tongue.gif

I used to manual car where everytime you press the gas, the car will respond immediately....

I'm not sure if all auto also like that or just Mazda 3, after you step on the gas, it takes maybe half a second to response (down shift maybe?)......

PLEASE do not buy from the TTDI branch, try your best to stay away from this dealer, they are seriously unethical and unprofessional. mad.gif

Hi guys, just a reminder so others don't have to go through the same bad experience as my friend. He just had a very rough experience as the salesman Zxx and manager Rxxx in TTDI branch simply provide false information and treat the customer with no respect. My friend doesn't want to bring up the whole thing here, but will submit a complain letter to HQ. Though not sure what HQ will do on dealers. Probably nothing.

I am not a salesman from other branches. But there are so many places that you can go besides TTDI branch. Trust me. They will tell you A today, and B tomorrow, maybe by next week there will be a C version of thing. Just for sharing. Peace!

Some say left side, some say right side but you have to be going over bumps at 20-30km/h and one owner say it is hardly noticeable. I went to Honda HRV thread and some owners were complaining about loud kok kok noise when going over bumps. Maybe it is a small thing and we are hyper sensitive to this issue. But if you read other car threads you will find there is no perfect car. If you insist on a perfect model you will never buy anything.

QUOTE(Winter@7 @ May 5 2015, 06:47 PM)
I agree with you. All brand car will have problem. No matter you buy cheap or expensive car as there is no car is 100% perfect. I also in HRV club and seen a lot of complain, and my family new CRV also have lot of problem and until now Honda still unable to solve. Bought 1 week before CNY and Honda say need to wait until end of May for KL technician arrive to test just decide what to claim. You say, Honda worse or not? Even everyone know H and T have a lot of SC around malaysia and with good service, but the problem still unable to solve. So, for me car is not drive forever. Dare to try it, if not happy, after 3-5 years can sell and buy another car.

Just highlighting of the issue to potential CKD buyer...........

I'm not that picky of a bit of knocking sound every now and then... in fact, just back from my first 1000km service...... mentioned the issue to the Service Center..... they acknowledge the issue but they need additional 5 to 6 hours to try rectify that..... rclxub.gif .... haha.... I rather live with the knocking sound....maybe until my next service...

The more annoying sound is the continuous minor squeaking on the dashboard... really annoying vmad.gif ... I think its the center front dash speaker grill .... told the Service Center... they've also checked and acknowledge the issue.... according to them the problem have been solved when I collect the car.....sadly.... the squeaking is still there but better.... not continuous, now, mostly on uneven road only... again, I think I'll live with it until the next service.... shocking.gif

Other than the above, everything else is good.... thumbup.gif

Like Ginny88 and Winter@7 said, there's no perfect car..... especially not at this price point whistling.gif ..... at least the Service Center acknowledge the issues and try to rectify them instead of typical response of "Normal lah, it's like this one!!!"

@ Jim Tan, rushing just now..... service quite long..... next time find you for lunch/tea.....

so is the knocking sound related to the lower arm issue? any news on permanent fix for this?
*
The Service Centre didn't say, they thought there's no such problem for CKD.

Anyway, they say they need to take apart the affected parts shocking.gif to look for the problem, that's the reason it takes so long....

Please ask them during your service and let me know... tongue.gif .. haha..

By the way, for your information, just updated the Mazda Connect to 53. xxx .xxx, previously was 51. xxx. xxx.

Yes, I specifically asked for it... not sure if they will do it on their own if you don't ask....

Didn't notice the difference yet.... I purposely asked for it because my navigation/music from USB hang before......

Seeking advice from all pros here.

Thinking of getting a mazda 3 ckd low spec sedan later this year. My present salary is about 5k gross and 4.3k nett. Would like to ask whether this is the right car for my income bracket or go for something cheaper... like the honda city, haha. Sifus who have boight the new mazda 3, mind sharing your... income level? If i am still too far below the acceptable range, then i will put off my plans for now and go for the cheaper option.

also, what do you guys think about  used 2011 mazda 6 which are going for about 80k? Advisable to consider?

Appreciate your replies.
*
I think you are asking the wrong question. I would think the more relevant question is how much disposable income left each month and is it enough to service the loan/maintenance instead.......

At least the service centre acknowledge the issue and is willing to check it. Not like some Honda service centre that I've experienced who like to say "It's like that wan." No better than Proton SCs.

Dashboard sound is something no CKD cars and even some CBU cars are immune to. It depends on your luck and patience to trace it. The Cerato is also famous for it. Sometimes minor sounds is better to accept than trying to trace it which involves dismantling dashboard. Sometimes it just goes away by itself.

Knocking sound from suspension is not too serious from what I gather. Hopefully when the SCs gain more experience with M3 CKD they will be able to solve it.
*
Agreed. I can live with some knocking sound than being guinea pig, letting the Service Centre take apart the car to look for the issue sweat.gif

I went to the service centre earlier for my previous "rattling sound at the dashboard" problem. Since need to leave my car overnight, I've also told them to resolve the ngek ngek sound over road bump issue. Hopefully they can settle both the problems when I collect the car tomorrow.

By the way, mine is CKD 2015.
