Apparently the visa signature card cannot be issued on the same day at card centres. Purposely drow all the way to gardens midvalley as I wanted to get a supp card for my wife so that she can enter the PPL lounge tonight before out flight. In fact I double confirmed twice with maybank visa signature helpline before I drove all the way from seremban.

Was shocked when I was asked by the agent which branch I want the supp card to be delivered to? Apparently the visa signature is a relatively new product so it cant embossed in the card centers, has to br outsourced apparently. All the way for nothing.

I wanted to do the same so i called the customer service but they asked me to check with the card center. So I called to the card center and they told me it will take 3 working days as it can only be issued in MBB HQ.

I see this move by Maybank is to compensate the setback due to the MBB2 Amex cashback removal. It is now the VS card with the second lowest income req in town...iinm

For me, even though the 5% rebate is good, this card failed the moment PPL access was suddenly revised to 5 times a year. So all this reduction in spending and income requirements is very much justified.

That means average income is 6k per month, minimum credit limit is only 12k? So easy to achieve la.....
