Was just trying because some people claimed to have received rebate but for different branch. You can refer to MB2cards thread.

Suggest to use any card that gives CB for online transactions, i.e. PB VS, CIMB CR, UOB VOX.

My bad, I used AMEX instead, but still got nothing last month. But my purchase with AMEX was only RM10 reload for SB. So, technically I should get RM0.50.

Do u have other credit card from Maybank which the expiry month is earlier than the month u got the VS? I read that for example, existing card expiry on Sep, if u get VS on Oct 2014, u will not be charged on Sep 2015 (less than 12 months) but to extend of Sep 2016

Yes I do. That could be the reason for auto waiver.

Is there any indication on your statement about the waiver or you spoke to CS about it?

all my maybank cards has same expiry date despite i got the individual cards from different month, I called CS last month to check on my VS annual fee, which suppose to charge this month and they cant justify whether I will be charge or not, ask me to verify again on closer date, will give them a call later to confirm on that, if the case is like urs, then i can enjoy for another year biggrin.gif

No more Government Service Tax, that means no more RM 50.
However, this GST is Goods and Services Tax, that means RM 550+6% = RM 583

The 5% rebate on grocery..does it means it is applicable to all departmental stores (eg, Jusco) including apparels, electronics, etc? Or the rebate is only strictly allowed for purchases in the supermarket grocery section?
