finally our SS premium arriving already latest tmr or wed.but in white instead of black. how do we tell the ss affected with the Harness problem, from the chasis number is it?
*
Great news hopefully all future SS owners will received it on time as Christmas presents.

Regarding wiring harness, easiest way is to call Proton SC and checked with them. I checked with them during my 2nd service and they said mine is not affected. cry.gif Cannot change to new one!

The last time I transfered my car old number it create a big hole in my pocket RM500 sweat.gif. It's great to transfer old number if it had some sentimental value.

Had been playing around with paddle shift for the past few weeks. Seems like it doesn't serve much purpose except maybe down shift to pick up the RPM and engine braking. Leaving it in D or S is much more efficient than paddle shift manually because it is programmed to vary the engine speed as needed to access maximum power as well as maximum fuel efficiency.

Below is the Preve comparison of D, S and paddle shift mode.

have allocation = have chasis number in branch / dealer system .
once payment done to proton then can request they send the car to showroom , usually reach showroom 2-3days after payment .
usually less then a weeks can settle everything ,if you say last friday already allocated normally the car will reach on tomorrow / wednesday . and you will be able to get car by this weekend

I saw one trailer yesterday carrying a load of Proton cars heading to Nilai on Elite highway including one silver SS, looks like premium. but my SA said the lorry only dropped a couple of Saga and drove off.

I chase my SA again and he promised to update me after lunch. Bored and tired now.

I quite agree with this with my expereince with my old cvt honda city. Although some ppl advice me not to do quick downshift for slowing down as it may destroy my gearbox not sure how true is this and if the same principle applies to suprima/preve gearbox since both are using start up clutch type cvt smile.gif
