My wishlist for suprima s :praying:
-Manual box (apparently preve manual box were very smooth compared to previous proton manual box) -Super Premum body kit matched to body paint (in this case the red colour) -17 inch or 15 inch super light wheels in gunmental/broze finishing -lowered suspension setup for sportier drive -drilled brake disc (since some folks have wrapped disc) -Retuned ecu with upgrade exasut/intake system To be honest I am really hopping they release manual suprima and r3 doing some mod part since they are racing suprima This post has been edited by minizian: Aug 12 2014, 02:57 AM |

QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Aug 13 2014, 12:03 PM) Well even if they don put some of the item as standard i hope we still can get it from r3 or some other tuning co. I currently driving cvt car and i know how smooth when driving around. Just wished the suprima gearbox is much more durable Its a pain waiting for manual suprima Is there any member who is driving manual preve? But that the racing version of suprima with na engine
I think u can do that with preve manual and throw everything out in order to lightnen the car since the na engine is underpowered This post has been edited by minizian: Aug 14 2014, 12:07 AM |

QUOTE(ajaibman @ Aug 15 2014, 10:28 AM) Yes, they still calibrating the ECU to handle more uncontrollable driving condition with Manual clutch, especially when still retaining the TCS, ESP and other electronic whizz which is more random compare to Auto car... will they any be power hike since they using manual box as it is more durable then cvt ones? I hope the manual box can handle teh grunt of someone mod it to the max |

How was the development of the manual suprima s? Last heard from here is that they are tweaking the ESP to avoid interfering the system. Any news about it? Was hopping forward they nail it.

QUOTE(merinyu @ Dec 23 2014, 09:07 AM) Had been playing around with paddle shift for the past few weeks. Seems like it doesn't serve much purpose except maybe down shift to pick up the RPM and engine braking. Leaving it in D or S is much more efficient than paddle shift manually because it is programmed to vary the engine speed as needed to access maximum power as well as maximum fuel efficiency. I quite agree with this with my expereince with my old cvt honda city. Although some ppl advice me not to do quick downshift for slowing down as it may destroy my gearbox not sure how true is this and if the same principle applies to suprima/preve gearbox since both are using start up clutch type cvt Below is the Preve comparison of D, S and paddle shift mode. |

QUOTE(Akiyoshi Jensei @ Mar 7 2015, 09:20 PM) Hope Proton do something with the upcoming R3 car line.Hope the Suprima S R3 and Preve R3 will equipped with massive engine so it can beat the Ford Mustang that is coming to Malaysia. Please Proton!!!!!! Hi you are not alone, I am waiting for it too QUOTE(thevelvet @ Mar 7 2015, 09:42 PM) Bro.. Where's ur super duper Suprima with exhaust piping R3++ version pic?? Well maybe he trying something that cant be found locally in jepang.Damn so excited knowing some Japanese guy interestedĀ with local product like almighty Proton here. Back when studying in aussie i regret din buy a second/third/fourth/etc hand holden commodore ss (6.0L V8) cos used car price in aussie are quite good and they pay road tax/registration based on driver age instead of engine size (imagine how much 6.0L road tax would cost here lol) This post has been edited by minizian: Mar 7 2015, 09:50 PM |
