QUOTE(vankodoq @ Aug 27 2014, 11:12 AM) Welcome to the club! How's your 700D doing for you? I started with 500D and is currently with 600D, I suppose yours got a few bits of enhancements compared to mine. consider myself lucky, i got it as second hand unit, damn new hardly believe it was used, included everything like body, kit lens, battery, memory card, lanyard, sans camera bag, so i have to carry around with it on my hand! I immediately test shot a couple of pictures last night, well here it is: https://flic.kr/p/oDrSK6 https://flic.kr/p/oVUbSW https://flic.kr/p/oDr3oi https://flic.kr/p/oVEoxX https://flic.kr/p/oDrVmD https://flic.kr/p/oVUevw https://flic.kr/p/oDrVF6 Very noob picture, hope you guys can give me some opinion, even critics i would gladly accepted |

Like your collection! One thing I have to why the picture taken is dated December 2013? Or you have not format the card and set the camera date? Advice from me would be try not to put the ISO too high as quite a noisy image for a product shot, eventhou nowadays can do high ISO setting. And do look out for the background as sometime it might be distracting. Keep up the good work! Recent weekend shot ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(fenrir0402 @ Aug 27 2014, 05:42 PM) yeah i think i didnt set the camera date, cos i bought this as used unit, at a very great price hehe... For the ISO you need to set according to the light condition, or let the camera decide in AUTO ISO. But for product or still shot, is better to have cleaner image or image with less noise, so you need a steady support or tripod to help you with the shot. Have some test shot and see how the camera perform in high ISO and try to avoid getting more noise into picture. But remember, a 'noisy' picture is always better than a blurry picture. so indoor shoot should set to 100 enough? i actually put this on auto sans flash mode. and yeah i have great love for action figure, 1 of the main reasons to jump into the DSLR bandwagon. other than that, cosplay chicks I really wondered my camera can do the shoot like yours?? ppl said lens matters more, but i doubt it would reach to a point you will have to upgrade to a better body I also wonder how other people got great shot, but i think the only way is shoot more and learn from the mistakes. For me, if you pass me any camera i will also take the same type of shot, as is still the same user with the same mind set. Lens do matter more because they can retain a greater resale value compared to body and photography is like another type of investment. So what body and lens does not drag me down from getting the shot i wanted, in fact i am using a 10 years old plus DSLR and it still serve me good. |

But hor ur junior forgot to iron his pakaian. Why u no help him iron out in photoshop. Also mana dapat background, buat ke? Didn't edit the greaves and wrinkles out because 1. I was so used to seeing wrinkled convocation gowns that I find that acceptable/not distracting lol. 2. He's suppose to be doing work, wrinkles on the sides are normal. 3. If it's too much, I'll reduce then for the next batch. Thanks for the advice. Background is just a plain black background. Everything else is dry ice, lightblaster and photoshop. QUOTE(fenrir0402 @ Aug 27 2014, 05:42 PM) -deleted- Cosplay, eh? There will be a cosplay event in Pavilion on Sunday if I'm not mistaken. You're coming? and yeah i have great love for action figure, 1 of the main reasons to jump into the DSLR bandwagon. other than that, cosplay chicks I really wondered my camera can do the shoot like yours?? ppl said lens matters more, but i doubt it would reach to a point you will have to upgrade to a better body As for the what matters more, it's always the man behind the gun. I know I'm still a long way to be at the same level with the sifus here, but the more you take pictures (and compare them to better ones), the more you'll know what makes a good picture for you. |

Most current canon dslr can act as a master to 430exii via IR. Not wireless. |
