I thought factory reset doesnt wipe the rom/build ? Or should i factory reset and try for the old JB rom / dev rom ?

It's not me. It's the other maxis users who complained in the other thread in miui forum. I can't confirm this problem since i am still stick to the JB version. I made such conclusion (on how the Maxis users having problem with the latest update) based on the discussion in that other thread.  May be some Maxis users are lucky enough and didn't encounter any issue. But since the complaints are there, then I think it's true that maxis line is somehow not compatible to latest Miui rom, and we should not ignore it.

seriously my area go no signal or 1 bar only also able to receive the call & hear clearly if i just move away from my room.. depend areas, change new sim card or reset ur phone to default setting

Samsung has started rolling its Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to Galaxy S4 non-LTE units which carries the model number (GT-I9500). If you’re using the 4G LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505), you might need to wait a little longer. The new update brings the latest KitKat goodies including UI changes as well as improvements on their native apps. A camera shortcut has been added on the lockscreen and the keyboard for landscape mode is reported to have been improved for faster typing.

My device randomly restart after upgrade to 4.4.
I've turned off wifi and seems the glitches was gone.
But, I cannot using wifi now... if am turn it on back, the 'randomly restart' happen again.
I am not sure if this kind of problem only happened to me or anyone else face the same problem too?? Mine is N9005-MALAYSIA

GT-I9500 Kit Kat update really sucks. Still prefer the music player list at the lock screen instead of album display. 4.3 Jelly Bean I can choose which song I like in my music play list at the lock screen, now I can only pick left or right and the album art been display bigger, those with low resolution really look bad. The GPS have some problem in some app which required current location such as weather apps. The email totally unable to sync, I can't receive any email after update. It sucks, I wish to roll back 4.3, but 4.4 replace the factory boot engine already. My advise is to wait and hear from other user before you choose to update Kitkat.

Prior to the upgrading to stabil ROM of KXDMIBE18.0, i did a back up on my phone data. When the back up is completed, i realised that it takes up a chunk of the precious storage space. Can i remove the storage files manaually ?

Why only Maxis? Why Maxis so stupid one?

Guys i just updated to KXDMIBE18.0 yesterday and really regret it afterwards. The following problems occured :
1) Cant answer calls nor make calls, theres no ringtone when youre making the call and when people call i cant hear them at all. Yes I'm on Maxis sucks balls.
2) screen and keyboard felt sloppy and unresponsive, i make 50% more typing errors than usual it seems.
3) New update stable build my ass

Updated last night.  Now my headphones can't work. Plugged in headphone but the  headphone icon is not showing.  Anyone faced this before?
