I just discover there is a problem with my Mi3. When i put it to screen lock, it flash the word "please do not cover the top of the screen" . what should i do?

Nope, didn't do that while it's charging, did it normally. Rebooted several times but the sensor still failed after several testing.

May I know where can I get the previous ROM?

Why not to update? My site here got 3 user Mi3 including myself updated to 4.4.2........so far no major issue. Only is i m using Umobile but it show MyMaxis, my friend using Tron and it show DiGi .....making and receiving call no problem. My friends also say the phone run smoother after update.

anybody check on memory usage after update? mine is around 80% with only talon pro and whatsapp on the background. before this around 60% only

i believed he mean memory usage is increase so available memory is less.

I wonder...will this latest stable Kitkat version force the Maxis users to give up their Maxis line and jump to other telcos so that they can utilize the Kitkat rom? I know this sound crazy, but I think this is possible....

Oh dang. Now my Playstore is gone. Sob sob*

some users ok with current kitkat like me...some not fortunate...might as well go for dev rom...

Mi3 is using full SIM card or micro sim ?

Guys i just updated to KXDMIBE18.0 yesterday and really regret it afterwards. The following problems occured :
1) Cant answer calls nor make calls, theres no ringtone when youre making the call and when people call i cant hear them at all. Yes I'm on Maxis sucks balls.
2) screen and keyboard felt sloppy and unresponsive, i make 50% more typing errors than usual it seems.
3) New update stable build my ass

I thought factory reset doesnt wipe the rom/build ? Or should i factory reset and try for the old JB rom / dev rom ?

Xiaomi Msia website can still click on 'Buy Now' haha maybe bcoz ppl dun wan mi3 but waiting for mi4..
