Honda uses 0w-20 for the City?? shocking.gif
*
Yes....you choose between ow20, 30 or 40 i think. Even Accord (non V6) also can use ow-20, nowadays engine oil has made a lot of progress, the Viscocity number alone does not determine the factor anymore. Honda is now pushing new 0w16 standard. smile.gif

We have an Inspira owner, using 0w20 and send the engine oil result to US lab for testing....hardcore betul...

Hi Ree73, I had set RM10k for a budget to add accessories for the car. Any recommendation for a good steerling lock? As I found from ENEOS the best one is cost RM260 with leather cover on top of the sterling lock. Look nice and if someone touch the sterling lock, horns will apply to it...

I didn add any additional lock. Quite safe on my parking at home and office tongue.gif

Hi Honda City Owners, someone had done their 10k service and here is the problem being highlighted during second service with all the price listed for the parts replacement and labor cost apply for it. Which is consider high cost for maintenance on 10k service as compare with Honda listed price on schedule maintenance via Honda official websites.  sweat.gif

Seems like they add a lot of thing, once you coat your car, can tell them not to wash window, not to wash engine etc.

Hi All, this people seems like not using his own brain to think about his own car if scratch by himself also consider a self satisfaction. Luckily, he is put me into ignored list and he can't see what I written here. What a good thing to judge a person for his moron attitude. rclxms.gif

I'm not so worried about the damage being done during warranty period. I'm just worried about excessive wear and tear that will accumulate over the years, and when finally the warranty expires you realize there are all sorts of damage on the engine because of this.

Hopefully Honda knows what they are doing lah

Hi Ree73, I thought they come out with a new version of full synthetic oil with a label eco for this lubricant. Cost will be cheaper than this 0W20 model...

I think "powerful" is not the correct description. It means thicker oil, more resistance to your piston, actually, use more fuel. But new 0W20 i think has lots of improvement, not only by shear thickness of the oil....if Honda can recommend to use for 2L engine+ like Accord, i am sure there's no problem using in the City small 1.5L engine. And thinner oil seems to be the trend, i read in Almera thread, TCM also using OW20 for the Almera....Godcar not sure....tongue.gif

I think the trend is thinner oil for good FC, yet provide enough protection for daily driving....Quazacolt's drive like orang gila using OW20 also no problem according to the lab test result....that's a 1.8L engine.
