QUOTE(sya_cd @ Jul 10 2014, 12:47 PM) don't immediately trust what is being posted. The best way is to give them a call and verify with them and also get the name of the person that you called or spoken to. They have many staffs there and not all of them are on the same page when it comes to their pricing. I'm not talking bad about DirectD as they do good business and due their constant influx of customers coming in everyday, miscommunication is bound to happen. The price will definitely drop from what i can see, its just a matter of time. The question would be if you are willing to give some time and wait it while the hype and demand phone drops or if you have the money and price differential wouldn't be a bother for you, then u can just get it right away. |

QUOTE(mindspring @ Jul 10 2014, 01:20 PM) Not yet. I'm planning to wait for at least a few more days and see how the price goes. Since can see the price fluctuates between 1,480+ to 1,500++. I do want the phone but i still wouldn't want to pay a price where i feel is not right, at least for me. I did try to call that guy but somehow can't get through. I guess it was a busy time when i called. |

QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Jul 10 2014, 12:09 PM) Buy power meter my experience with Samsung chargers have not been good. hissing sound, low amp (using GCC to check). I ended up getting some cheap but good Chinese chargers. My mom's Note 2 charger koyak in Day 3. Same symptom. I only trust fruit charger. It is costly but they really put an effort into designing the internals. http://www.righto.com/2014/05/a-look-insid...ers-pricey.html been wanting to try iPad chargers. anyone knows typically how much and where I can get them? one thing I noticed about those chargers that you plug a usb cable... sometimes the cable quality also causes issues. example: my power bank can output 2A. but using old cables (bought from LYN sellers), can't get even 1A. but when I used the mi power bank cable (flat one), I can get 1.8A. |

I had one cable that can charge as fast as power adapter from any source ( normal USB or power bank ), from US and expensive, so yeah cable does matter a lot.been wanting to try iPad chargers. anyone knows typically how much and where I can get them? one thing I noticed about those chargers that you plug a usb cable... sometimes the cable quality also causes issues. example: my power bank can output 2A. but using old cables (bought from LYN sellers), can't get even 1A. but when I used the mi power bank cable (flat one), I can get 1.8A. |

QUOTE(mindspring @ Jul 9 2014, 04:58 PM) after he directed me to directd (ground floor, beside mk mart), he called me asking where and what shirt im wearing. he said he saw me, then he hang up. sorry for that. at that time, my stock manager ask me to taking stock at Bukit Bintang & i am left my phone at office. i thought u manage deal with directd staff. sorry for bad experience u having yesterday.at first i thought he must be one of the directd staff. so i wait lah. i spent like 20 minutes lining up. during my turn, the salesman said that guy is from another company and i need to deal with him personally. then i called him like four times he didnt pick up. i whatsapp him, no reply. being super saiyan, i decided not wait and just left empty handed. dah la damn hard to find parking, i spent my time to go there, snaking from work also. and now im stuck in traffic. until now still no reply what so ever. thank you la weh! |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jul 10 2014, 12:04 PM) hmm... did you check the last few pages? nightfelix posted his order details, including price. then just do usd to rm conversion la... Yeah, just saw that but was trying to get an accurate figure of the shipping cost to M'sia...but if you don't have anyone bringing the device in for you, then probably need to add about rm100+ for shipping from USA Malaysia. if you add that all in, as someonesim said, better just buy from local resellers. slightly more expensive, but can check unit, get local warranty, etc... p/s: I have away my invite as I decided to just get locally. And why i'm planning to get from OnePlus instead of re-seller as there might be some minor hardware update which i heard on Android Authority unboxing, around 5:50 mark... OnePlus One Unboxing |

QUOTE(xyz_cityhunter @ Jul 10 2014, 01:43 PM) Yeah, just saw that but was trying to get an accurate figure of the shipping cost to M'sia... honestly, I'm still not really sure if there's actually any hardware difference. but I do know that the Chinese version will have some network band issues if you're using in USA. can that be controlled by software, I honestly have no idea. And why i'm planning to get from OnePlus instead of re-seller as there might be some minor hardware update which i heard on Android Authority unboxing, around 5:50 mark... OnePlus One Unboxing just to share... I was on the same boat as you, but in the end, decided to just buy locally. if you read some of the complaints in the official forum (including being charged a fee for warranty), personally, I think I'm better off getting locally. but... I guess so far I've been lucky and never had issues with my AP sets (other phones). based on my own calculations which includes using forwarder to send to Malaysia, it's about rm1.4... local sellers... about rm1.5.. done said directd just dropped price again. |

slightly off topic...
personally, I don't really like what I've done on page 1. feel free to suggest which thread and TS I can check with for better formatting. and I guess I prefer to keep things simple and easy. anyone getting a OnePlus One phone is likely to be techie anyway... coz regular users... they are usually wary of new brands, especially Chinese ones. I'll need sometime to update page 1. busy with some personal stuffs... This post has been edited by mydragoon: Jul 10 2014, 02:01 PM |
