No warranty and all, isn't it the same as just getting it from taobao. For rm1350 plus shipping at that?

Just got my case from oneplus website.
Crazy packaging. They used the same shipping box as the one they used to send the phone

Even the packaging for individual items used the phone packing.

Other that taobao scalpers, and oneplus.cn, if you want to get your phone, you can try jd.com and yixun.com. Tomorrow at jd.com 12pm will have opo for sale. Grab it like buying mi powerbank. Do not use the jd english site. I think jd and yixun is more lenient in terms of the accounts, unlike oneplus site where you need a china phone number. Not sure how the payment is done for jd, they dont take alipay.

For yixun.com, they have 16gb in stock NOW. 2099 rmb, with 1.9 rate means rm1100 plus agent top up fees. Alipay top up fees are pretty competitive if you top up a lot. Add shipping 2kg, about rm40 for phones. Means you can get OPO 16gb for Rm1150 ish. Yixun and jd is where most of the scalpers get their stock.

For those dreaming that the opo can drop below RM1100 for 16gb for AP set, please note that china price is 1999 rmb, about RM1050. You need to add profit and overhead cost to that. I doubt it will drop below rm1100 this soon.
For, international set, you're not gonna get warranty without shipping it back anyway. You want that cyanogenmod logo? If you use it nakkid like me, maybe it's nice. Once the back cover is released, you can grab the cyanogenmod version easily. Or you can do custom engraving and put an android logo there, if you choose to do so

My original charger kinda died.

Yesterday used it to charge power bank and it was pulling 15W. Normal power consumption was around 13W with a lot of buzzing noise. This morning, it could only draw 7W. Changed to ipad 2A charger to charge my power bank and it was pulling 13W just fine.

OPO probably cheaped out on some components there

I only trust fruit charger. It is costly but they really put an effort into designing the internals.
