I must admit, your vintage collection is in alot better condition than mine. You even have the boxes for some of the sets. I also have the elevated car park with petrol station and the holiday home with the camper van.
What happened to your set? blink.gif

Do you have others as well besides you mentioned above? wink.gif

Nice. Thanks so much for the guidance guys. Actually I prefer real shop rather than online shop, coz I'm very particular about box condition. So far, my fav shop is Bricksmore (very close to my house) and all those at Amcorp mall.

Actually my wife is more interested in the minifig. Me on the hand, more to ship, pirate ship to be precise. QAR is too expensive for me, so maybe I will opt for LOTR Pirate Ambush instead. Most probably will focus more on Technic line, trying to collect the whole series.

I will try to upload the pic when I'm back at office. Currently I'm online using phone. Haha. Computer at house KO already, so I will use my office computer to upload pic later.

Hey guys, I'm in in a dilemma , can anyone help?

Which set should I buy?

75055: Imperial Star Destroyer

75020: Jabba's Sail Barge

I have Jabba's Palace and Rancor Pit, I wonder if I should get the Sail Barge along with those sets to complete the "Jabba" collection?

and I've always liked the Star Destroyer, it should look really good on my shelf (Couldn't get the old version because of its hiked price)

Hi guys, I"m new to the Lego scene. Apart from Parkson and Toys R Us, where do you guys normally buy your Lego from? I understand Amazon US has stopped shipping internationally, and there are some mention of Amazon UK. Is there any other stores/sites that you guys usually buy from? I am interested mainly in the larger sets like the Creator modular sets and the larger Star Wars sets. Thank you

Stop buying from Toys R Us and Parkson, they charge their lego sets in RRP which is far more expensive than street prices

They are cheaper alternatives, you can buy Lego here, Lowyat forums, just search around in the Hobbies and Collectibles section.

Besides that, Ebay Malaysia has a decent selection of Lego sets and minifigures too.

For international stores - Bricklink is a good choice, large marketplace just for Lego, competitive prices and lots of sellers ship to Malaysia.

Personally, I'd get the Sail Barge first cause it's an older set compared to the Star Destroyer. That way, if it does run out of stock, I won't have to pay a higher price should I want to have it at a future date smile.gif

I normally get my sets from online sellers cause I find their prices are sometimes cheaper and they have the sets that I want. Having said that, there's a lot of new retail shops that offer lower prices compared to TRU. Interestingly, you can go back to page 55 and 56 of these forums as there was a discussion on some of the places you can get your sets smile.gif

Will buy both then

I've splurged these few days, and I'm going to get the Sail Barge tomorrow, it would take quite some time for my bullets to reload for the Star Destroyer doh.gif
