Hi guys,

I am new here on this part of the forums. Recently got really pulled into Lego frenzy after visiting Legoland in London with my kids during a holiday. I am a huge Star Wars fan and the Super Star Destroyer and X-Wing models blew me away. There was no turning back after seeing those. And when I came back to the shops in Malaysia, seeing the B-Wing on display sealed the deal for me.

I am in the construction line and so the Technic series are also making me very interested, especially seeing some of the Volvo photos above.

Just wanted to say hi to all the members here and hope to learn and share more in future.

Selamat Hari Raya and Happy Holidays to all!

I am also waiting for a few vintage star wars UCS sets. Probably because of the holiday the customs have some backlog of packages.

We need balanced stimulation of the various brain sectors.

If spend every waking moment with Ada Wong, sure become brain dead. But you are right....let's not derail...

Almost. There is a little tear at the bottom left corner. But I am not complaining. Vintage set after all smile.gif

Tie Interceptor UCS

Yes. I have been waiting eagerly for it to arrive. Will post photos when I finish putting it together. It is not a big set in terms of pieces, but it's size has a commanding presence. Just like the Vader's Tie Advanced UCS.

I know. After seeing the new X-Wing and SSD, I am just so blown away. I started hunting. This is one of the results.

Hello all. So basically I'm new to this hobby, but I've been collecting figures (Hot Toys) and Gundam for some years already. And I think its time for me to start collecting Lego as well, as I never play Lego when I was a child (damn poor. Haha)

So long story short, I'm very keen to purchase any ship Lego. I have 3 things in mind: Queen Anne's Revenge, Black Pearl and Metalbeard ship. I saw Queen Anne's Revenge at Amcorp, damage is 1600. Is it worthy to get it with that price? Any other good place to get Lego beside Amcorp Mall? Thanks in advance. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I agree with YHLee. If you really like it, why not.

I also started with this craze just recently and Star Wars is my cup of tea. With the retired sets, some of them really look too good to resist and go up to thousands and thousands of ringgit.

I have bought quite a few of these retired sets from the internet and they proved to be cheaper than the shops here (if they even have them in the first place, since it is retired).

I think you can save a bit if you try to bring it in yourself by buying online. But of course there is always a risk. Damaged box, held up at customs etc. I guess these shops have already taken the risk and they need to make a living afterall.

In my case, I was lucky with some but some I had to go to customs there to retrieve and pay the tax. But still ended up saving.

Good news, it seems that the shopkeepers at S@H are awake and have switched on the "In stock" switch.

UCS Tumbler is now available for VIPs.  However, it's still limited to 1 per person.
