Another friend of mine asked me to get one from EU, but now it's backordered.

No idea. When that set came out I was in my dark ages.

I have suffered from this too. I contacted Lego customer service and the replacement is on its way. I got the corrected BTTF flux capacitor too through customer service.

Contact customer service at Lego.com. Not sure if it'll work for Malaysian customers.

The Flux Capacitor piece has a misspelling where "Shield" is spelled "Sheild".

If you have a misspelled Flux Capacitor then Lego will send you a corrected spelling one if you request for it.

There are some illegal building techniques, therefore some parts cannot fit in LDD but fit in reality.

BTW, just received the replacement booklet for Ecto-1 and this came in the post today for my friend in Msia.

Quite a nice collector's item.

I found an original (with the weak helmet) blue spaceman at a flea market. Bought it instantly for EUR4 with accessories.



I don't think you can find a new one nowadays, because the helmet is strengthened and the spacing of the face printing is a bit different nowadays.

Riding on the heels of the success of The Lego Movie, I suggest that anyone who wants a copy to put in their order fast.

I'll be getting at least 1 copy with the Research Institute in August.

The measurements are weird though. 80cm?

Depending on the box measurements, I might be able to help LYN Lego fans to secure the Exo Suit for less than RM200, if I can fit at least 5 in a box.

If can, I can ship it in a DHL package for EUR 45 (insured) and someone in Msia must coordinate the logistics to get the sets to the buyers.

I don't intend to make any money off this, as I will buy it at retail from S@H Germany for EUR35. So 35x5+45=EUR220 which is about RM950, therefore less than RM200 per set.

However, it all depends on what kind of limits Lego will have per person and what the box measurements are, for me to fit in a standard DHL international delivery box.
