Not sure any of you came across Acedeal Lego based in UK. But when my friend told me about how their deals are too good to be true, I decided to check them out and the deals are indeed too good to be true.

A word of warning to all bros here in case you come across them.

Sorry if you are already aware of sites like these. But my friend almost took the bait.

Yup, cos I looked through his facebook first. Only started posting since June 2014. And all the pictures of the shops don't match. Basically they are pictures of diff Lego shops all over the world.

Tried calling the phone number, dead number.

Searched for his company on google. He lists in weird places like trade India and stuff like that.

My final test was to ask him for Batmobile UCS. It took me AGES to find 2 sets new and sealed 2 months ago over RM 1k each. And he claims to have 13 in his store! That was the final nail into the coffin.

Was reading this article online on people stealing/robbing lego sets...anyone bought from this guy on Ebay before?

Still wondering how does the value to size/effort ratio justify pulling a heist on Lego sets.

But I guess it is more difficult to trace like they said. And many outlets for the stock in hand.

Yes. Especially if huge box.

If box is smallish can get lucky. I got lucky a couple of times.

Yes. It is beside the LCCT. In between LCCT and Tunes hotel. Usually less packed in the morning. Usually....

Damn...that's bad. How long ago was this?

I mean I have been there almost 20 times over the past few months and honestly, I didn't experience any of that.

I mean, they were ok enough to me, as I was really blur the first time. Which counter to bring form to, then which counter to collect the box, meet customs, inspect, show invoice, make declaration form, chop, pay, chop, get back pass etc. I was even stupid enough to almost carry out the box thinking its tax free after picking it up from the store the first time without letting the customs inspect!

But all was quite smooth. And then after a couple of times, they recognized me and we just chit chat while I am going through the entire process every time (the proper full process, which sometimes took me 1.5 hours as there were just too many people).

Yes. If ur item is withheld they will send u a notification.

In your case it just means they are in the customs section. Normally if the status does not change to cleared after around 48 hours means you kena already.

Remember to print a copy of your purchase invoice.

Bro what special set is this? Sure above rm 500 since they only tax toys above that amount.

wahh...very lucky. But I guess if the number of sets are small maybe they can let you off. And probably on a good day.

Yeap. And even the October stocks are probably gone as well. I was in London and went into the Lego shop (as it was right underneath my hotel, literally). First day was so tempted to get Mini Coopers as there were many in stock (10 or more). But held back and lucky I did. Next day I went early in the morning to pick up Santa's Workshop and he asked me, by the way are you interested in Tumbler.

I was like hell yeah. Apparently 20 surprise stocks came in, which was to be expected for October. Took one and wasn't allowed to buy more. Naturally, I called up the Lego Shop on the other side of London and they said their 20 sets were coming in the next day. Naturally, I was there at 9am to get another one

BY the next day, shelf was clean and replaced with Sandcrawlers.

I think Lego hit jackpot with this set. Even non Lego fans are buying it.

Wifey completed yesterday.

Hahaa yah....nobody play with him. So he entertain himself. We gave him large pieces that can't fit in his mouth. Bought duplo for him but wanted to save it as his Bray present.

I didn't.
