You still got 2 years warranty, claim from Inc,right!

I also will end Nasim claim next week. Managed to put in claim for air-con and door hinge last week. Actually had these 2 problems for the last 6 months. Thought better put in the claim before 3 year warranty ends! Not sure if these are covered on Inc plan. Had the problems diagnosed last week.

The claims so far:

1. Coolant temp. sensor - solved
2. Air-con compressor noise - waiting parts
3. Door hinge ( driver side ) - waiting parts

Very satisfied with the car. In 3 years, no engine or gb problems, still runs well and smooth gears!

Yup, got 2 years more extended warranty but alot doesnt cover.

I manage to claim rear brake disc, cooling coil, battery, valve cover, coolant outlet tank punya screw 2 pcs, turbo hose and temp sensor for the last 3 years. Engine and gb still strong.

Just did my 50k kms service last week and it took them 9 hours to complete a MINOR service.

Car went in at 9.30am and they only drove the car in at 2pm.

Anybody noticed that we're paying for the "consumables" aka plastic wrappings and so called windscreen additives?

Can you guys confirm?

I've just sent an email to clic today and are waiting for their respond.

Door hinge or they call "door stopper" - be careful what they change, the part should be in the seal plastic with label made in France, otherwise you may face the problem from bad to worst.

I just sent in my car for the door stopper change. What do you mean from bad to worst? Do you check the warranty part before you let them do the work. I need to leave my car there for 3 days because my car needs to change the smelly car dash sponge. So, I didn't check any warranty new parts.

This is what they asked for. Waiting for the parts is the nightmare because warranty center keep on delay the part to send out to service center. Hopefully this time able to solve the problem.

I have the smelly sponge issue too. Waiting for SC to receive the part. The SC manager said 3 days but mechanic said if do fast can finish in one day. I'd rather let them keep for three days because if they screw up with re-installation of dashboard then big problem liao..

No bro. Not yet. Just wondering only. Heard some sound during gear change. At Glenmarie now.

The last time it showed Engine Failure and Gearbox Failure it was due to High Pressure Fuel Pump. So far they have changed the Turbo Charger and the HPFP

Bro, send your car to SC tell them to diagnose. Share with us here. I also wanted to know what was really happened.

This Nov my 3 yrs warranty ended. I just want to get prepare to claim any defect before warranty end.

To date (70k km) managed to claim:
1) temperature sensor - 6month
2) windscreen rubber LHS - 1yr
3) HPFP - 2yr 6month

Thanks in advance.

* I plan to decarbo next month just for own preventive maintenance..... (feel less power and fuel consumption increase from 7.9 to 8.3. Mayb due to carbon built up)

Just get prepare your HPFP. It seems like everyone here having same chnological manufacturer deffects.
My car symptoms:
1) cranky start/ cold start.
2) gear change a bit sluggish from 2-3 with higher rpm compare to previous known rpm.
3) power cut while crusing 140kmhr. MFD pop up "engine failure need to repair". I slow down, stop the car and switch off engine.
4) restart engine and feel underpower hard to accelerate.
5) send to SC. Scan and claim for warranty within a week approved. Just 1 day complete installation.

Good luck. Cheers.

Tks for the heads up. Any idea if the HPFP is claimable after the 3rd year? If not I might as well start to source for the pump! Appreciate if you could post the part number.

Will be good if can add list of non SC workshops and spare part shops at the intro page.

Lot of us have ended Nasa warranty. We know 2 year extended warranty does not cover many things. Time to look at workshop options. Guys, add on to the list below info you have.

I claim for door stopper (front right), after almost 2 months, SC at Kota Damansara called said part available.
I make appointment and left the car from morning, when i collect back at 5pm, found the door stopper sound even louder than before i change. The colour also different. (New door stopper in black too but shinning compare other door (matt finished)
After argue with the workshop manager, he agreed that will replace another for me but have to come back another day. So make another appointment.
This time I stay there to see what they change, so when the technician bring out the part, I saw it in the seal plastic with label made in France. Compare the earlier which the technician also show me where he keep my spoil stopper. The plastic without any label.

Sorry for the late reply. Have not been well. I will give more detail later but my problem started earlier when I had a pull back whenever change from gear 2 to 3. During other cosmetic changes, they also changed my Turbo Charger.

The same day I took my car back from Glenmarie, my fuel was very low. I was already feeling like a pull back from slowing down and accelerating - I think gear 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 - not sure. Suddenly on uphill, the car slowed down and stopped. I thought it was due very low fuel. Managed to get fuel but the car couldn't engage in Drive. It was just falling backwards near Pantai Hospital uphill. Car can engage in Reverse but in Drive - just falling backwards. MFD showed Engine Failure, Gear Box Failure and Low Fuel.

Towed back to Glenmarie and they changed the HPFP. Now ok. But I am still feeling the car gear transmission not smooth. Also scratching sound every time from RPM 1200 to 1500. Above 1500 its ok. Glenmarie said maybe loose turbo cover. Appointment - 29/7

I am not an expert driver so cant really tell :-)

Also the when brake and release there is sound from the breaks. Not sure this is normal

Our cabin filter located underneath the left hand side storage compartment. Ask SC replace it on your next service.
