QUOTE(vknight @ Oct 17 2014, 09:45 AM) I personally think that the checklist is still required. When I took my car 2 weeks ago, I didn't follow the checklist and later found that my wiper water spray one side not working. I don't think the technician did a good job in PDI and how can they miss it. My tyre is year 2013 and it is almost a year old.I will send in my car for repair this Saturday and do the free alignment. |

QUOTE(padsya @ Oct 17 2014, 11:54 AM) do u guys experience lack of power when full load (500 kg) while climbing hill (cameron highland).... btw i got tons of prob with da car... but but... its a fun car to drive.... hehehe Just feel that the 6AT is not smart enough. I have experience down hill gear box hold at second gear and reach 5k rpm. It created enormous engine braking which I think it is too much. So i will use MT mode to up shift. Another thing is while cruising at 70km/h, gearbox reluctant to up shift to sixth gear and hold the engine speed at 2k rpm.Just not understand why the gearbox behave like this because the engine able to output maximum torque at 1.4k rpm. |

Yesterday sent my lion for repair.I will send in my car for repair this Saturday and do the free alignment. 1) Wiper water spray blockage. Done 2) Free wheel alignment. SC told me that the technician in charge of alignment absent and require to come at next appointment. Just curious how can this happen to the SC which only rely on one worker? I think previously someone posted safety mode on our 408. I have checked with the technician and he showed my the fuse box setting. When one of the fuse inside the passenger glove box connect to 'park mode' mean 'safety mode'. It is a mode to conserve battery when the car is not use for a long period example the manufacturer keep it in store. When the car is delivered to us, it must connect to 'claim mode'. Oh. One more thing, the SC forgot to return my service booklet. I don't even think that this should happen. When I took my car, all the seat, steering and gear knob cover still there. Hence, I can pretty sure that the service advisor don't even bother to check the car before return to customer. This is very bad. I never experienced this in Toyota and Nissan SC. |

Does anyone change the engine oil during the 2.5k inspection because my Toyota and Nissan car require to go for engine change change during the 1st 1k service? Not sure these apply to all Japs car or still apply to the recent new Japs model. Does other conti car change the engine oil during 1st 1k service?
My thought is quite logic to change the engine oil during 1st 1k service because usually engine will create more metal debris during the wear in period and also not sure how long the car has been stored before deliver to us. Does anyone try to lighten up a bit for the steering because my wife feels it too heavy to drive the car? |

QUOTE(lowpro @ Oct 30 2014, 12:11 PM) all peugeot will still allow a bit of outside air to get in. it is to ensure a bit of circulation even if you select recirculate. the idea works in europe but not that well here where our air stinks generally. but it is just something u will need to live with. Mine also occasionally can smell the outside fume even though the air cond set to circulation mode. Worst part is if I drove more aggressive, can smell burning engine oil. |

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Nov 14 2014, 03:53 PM) According to the member, suspect high pressure fuel pump faulty. I punished my lion (driving aggressively) when going Fraser Hill 2 weeks ago but seems alright. Is it because my fuel tank almost full? Not only Cameron, some members also encounter problem at Fraser and Genting. Cant find any error when send in to SC for checking. |
