Tks for the heads up. Any idea if the HPFP is claimable after the 3rd year? If not I might as well start to source for the pump! Appreciate if you could post the part number.

Bro, HPFP warranty cover up to 3yrs only. You may outsource from here:

EUROMOTIVE AUTO PARTS
7, Jalan 8/146, Bandar Tasik Selatan 57000 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Regarding the part number, Kuantan SC doesn't indicate in my service sheet. You may contact other SC and talk to sparepart incharge person. They shall help you.

Cheers.

Sorry for the late reply. Have not been well. I will give more detail later but my problem started earlier when I had a pull back whenever change from gear 2 to 3.  During other cosmetic changes, they also changed my Turbo Charger.

The same day I took my car back from Glenmarie, my fuel was very low. I was already feeling like a pull back from slowing down and accelerating - I think gear 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 - not sure. Suddenly on uphill, the car slowed down and stopped. I thought it was due very low fuel. Managed to get fuel but the car couldn't engage in Drive. It was just falling backwards near Pantai Hospital uphill. Car can engage in Reverse but in Drive - just falling backwards. MFD showed Engine Failure, Gear Box Failure and Low Fuel.

Towed back to Glenmarie and they changed the HPFP. Now ok.  But I am still feeling the car gear transmission not smooth. Also scratching sound every time from RPM 1200 to 1500. Above 1500 its ok. Glenmarie said maybe loose turbo cover. Appointment  - 29/7

I am not an expert driver so cant really tell :-)

Also the when brake and release there is sound from the breaks. Not sure this is normal
*
My 1 cent suggestion is keep monitor your RPM during gear change. Since our gearbox is auto adaptive, try keep your driving style remain consistent. Any changes in gear-rpm ratio might show significant difference if anything goes wrong.

I prefer you send to Balakong SC. They are quite reliable.
Btw, has you change your ATF oil?. Some SC schedule our car to change it during 50k service.

Just wait your appointment with SC. Hope everything will be OK.

Cheers.

Will be good if can add list of non SC workshops and spare part shops at the intro page.

Lot of us have ended Nasa warranty. We know 2 year extended warranty does not cover many things. Time to look at workshop options. Guys, add on to the list below info you have.

Just did my 50k kms service last week and it took them 9 hours to complete a MINOR service.

Car went in at 9.30am and they only drove the car in at 2pm.

Anybody noticed that we're paying for the "consumables" aka plastic wrappings and so called windscreen additives?

Can you guys confirm?

I've just sent an email to clic today and are waiting for their respond.

Is that windscreen liquid washer?

Tqvm!

I was reading the extended warranty plan. It quotes, parts that lead to a mechanical or electrical defects are claimable. There are no details and have heard from ppl, not every part is covered. Surely the HPFP falls into the mechanical category! I might contest this with Nasa if I encounter the failure. Besides I have a second car I can use, should the Pug need to hibernate during the contest period.

We'll see...hahaha!

Hehehe.. you may try ur luck bro.

Initially, i plan to replace the HPFP after Raya due to my tight schedule. But i was informed by SC that my HPFP warranty up to 3 yrs only. Therefore i just proceed coz worried if warranty claim issue may arises later since our malaysia Peugeot now need an approval from france regarding any warranty claim.

No harm if replaced it earlier rather than prolonged to another "penyakit berjangkit" (misfiring & etc.) Hehehehe.

Very good idea to replace early, especially since you know the problem. Will spoil Raya mood if it starts to act up when the whole family is packed and ready to travel!

Will certainly help to know what exactly is covered on this extended warranty. I wonder if any one here has got the list!

Btw, managed to get Euromotive's phone no from facebook : 03 90570921

I read an article said that we should maintain at least a 1/4 tank to prolong the fuel pump. The article said that the modern HPFP requires fuel to lubricate and cool the pump. I think it is quite true because some of our friends here suffer HPFP issue after low fuel. Not sure how about other sifu here thinking.

You may be right. I always fill up when my fuel gauge comes to 1/4 mark. Mine is 1st batch, completed 3 years this month. No problem with the HPFP.

Tried tell my sis this. 5years already, till today she'll fillup only after warning light come on! Lucky she drives a Jap car.....Swift.

Yeah. The Chan Sow Lin service manager also said the same thing. But I have been waiting until warning light cause trying diff oils. Now decided to try BHP for one month cause I heard better quality.

Me also same, going for 60k service this Thurs.
Last Monday I experienced loud knocking sound while driving, after checked by SC, aircon compressor rosak.
Now driving without aircon.

It is under warranty, do report and claim it before your 60k.

Please do it ASAP.
As ur car due for 60K service soon (3rd year warranty ending).
If anythg touch wood, ur claim submitted late to HQ, ur claim may be denied. (Just my assumption)

To prevent uncertainties, report to SC ASAP, and you would also need to wait for the part for more than 1 week time.
