Anyone of you facing issues with the payment to the cards not being reflected in m2u?

I've made 2 payments to my cards on 8th Oct but the payment not reflected till now. Money already deducted from savings zzzz

Devil4life and spikey2506 had the same issue. perhaps they can update the status?

I called them again today and they told me to check again tomorrow morning. They are aware of the problem affecting payments on the 8th of Oct and their IT team is still fixing it

previously quite a number of Amex card kena online fraud ...

i have the plat version and a pair of supp cards for the missus, this happened on the missus's master...

last week the supp Mastercard kena fraud, the transaction went tru without the OTP

called the cs center immediately, and while veryfying my details, kena another transaction

total 4.1k, each right after the USD 1 charge by paypal

you realised because you have your sms alert activated with minimum rm1 transaction?

so another non-amex card involved in fraud.

may i know the name of the merchants?

i thought that my sms alerts are activated for all transaction, but later i checked with the cs, and was told i can only activate transaction of RM1 and above


the USD1 paypal verification charge will come first, then the full charge, i had this USD1 charge from paypal some time ago, but only the USD 1 charge came in, and thats it - checked later, not reflected on my statement, so i ignored it, i guess it came tru this time

I saw one report in newspaper, look like credit card that link to Paypal is not safe.

The payment is still not reflected this morning. 😠

I wonder what is so hard for them to rectify this.

sometimes is not paypal problem..
it is some online portal.. e.g. groupon, google play, app store, agoda and etc..
this kind of portal save your cc information...if they have vulnerable in their portal, then is easier for hacker to get your cc information..
next time try not to save your cc information in online portal

this credit card is not linked to Paypal, i believe Paypal takes care of the security better than this

this case, the OTP was bypassed

Maybank called me just now to inform that they are still in the midst of doing a recovery to all the payments involved. Any surcharges because of this will be waived by them. They are unable to give time estimation but the latest will be early next week.
