previously quite a number of Amex card kena online fraud ...

i have the plat version and a pair of supp cards for the missus, this happened on the missus's master...

last week the supp Mastercard kena fraud, the transaction went tru without the OTP

called the cs center immediately, and while veryfying my details, kena another transaction

total 4.1k, each right after the USD 1 charge by paypal

i thought that my sms alerts are activated for all transaction, but later i checked with the cs, and was told i can only activate transaction of RM1 and above


the USD1 paypal verification charge will come first, then the full charge, i had this USD1 charge from paypal some time ago, but only the USD 1 charge came in, and thats it - checked later, not reflected on my statement, so i ignored it, i guess it came tru this time

this credit card is not linked to Paypal, i believe Paypal takes care of the security better than this

this case, the OTP was bypassed
