isnt maybank2cards now the same as your UOB Vox & One?
why mbb doesnt allow combined payment for 2 cards is because of (probably) payment allocation.
imagine this:
Amex: RM150 outstanding
Visa: RM75 outstanding.
if both combined, and I pay RM70, how does the system know which card you're paying for?
If i pay RM100, which card am i paying for? if set to offset Visa first, then the excess RM25 goes to Visa or auto to Amex?
now, expand this problem for IBG/cheque payment from 3rd party banks.
this is why each card has its own card number to uniquely identify itself.
treat it as this:
Customer account = you, based on NRIC or other IDs <-- parent account
Card numbers = sub-account for the products (visa/mc/amex) that MBB "resell" to you. <-- child account
yes, but don't really get the relevancy behind tie both visa and amex together. since we are forced to pay service tax for 2 cards now, shouldn't we be given the option to cancel either one? i could replace the visa with something else that would be more rewarding why mbb doesnt allow combined payment for 2 cards is because of (probably) payment allocation.
