yes updated my iphone 5 since 1st day

some function is nice such as timer for camera but alot of function is not there yet

ie. when msg come u...i suppose can reply on the spot, but cannot
my apps turn left and right screen macam slow respond
safari macam become slow...open new tab like need 1 second delay and etc etc...

so DONT UPGRADE YET...regret here..see even dannykhoo17  also ask dun upgrade...i also ask my gf dun upgrade

After 5 days of using iOS 8 on my iPad mini retina (& just a day on my 5s  ), ive decided to switch back to iOS 7.1.2. The difference is huge man. At first i thought iOS 8 is fast enough on my iPad but sadly no. iOS 7.1.2 is much2 faster and snappier and not to mention much more stable than iOS 8. To me iOS 8 needs a lot of work to be done, the experience is really bad, with so many minor but noticeable bugs. (wifi, touch sensitivity, keyboard auto jump, photo upload, compatability, etc..) i hope in next update Apple will fix all of that stuff. Till then, will stick with iOS 7.1.2. 

Can still revert? Apple still sign 7.1.2? Can you give me a link to show me how to revert please?
Can I just restore from my backup?

Thanks, the only reason I am planning to revert is that I plan to get the 6+ and pass the 5s to the wife, and it is better for her to have one that is snappy and fast. iOS 8 in 5s is not bad. It's quite fast too.. but iOS 7 would be snappier!

I know safari and mail works but what I meant was messages i.e. SMS, iMessage. It's still not enabled by Apple till october.

If you're using windows just click shift+restore then select your ipsw to restore.

But this is fully restore all your data will be wipe phone will be like new.  :nod:

How to restore ipad mini first gen wifi..i chose file ipsw ipad mini wifi...but cant load..ios 7.1.2 expired oledi?

What u mean cant load? As of now Apple still sign 7.1.2. Make sure u download the correct ipsw.  :nod:

I was success update to 7.1.2 , everything fine . Only fb , whatsapp seem load slow in startup. And any one can guide how to remove the u2 ablum from the music ?

Thanks for the heads-up. Will refrain updating to iOS 8 for my iPad Mini until they fix this major issue.

I had downgrade it from iOS8 to iOS 7.1.2. However after I downgraded, when I'm trying to restore from my iCloud backup, it shows me  "Cannot Restore backup".
I think I am gged. Any1 have any idea how to overcome this?
