Did you upgrade OTA or from iTunes?
*
Mine done by OTA
After few restart now abit better then before. For those who have lag and hang issue, can try restart few times.

But now another problem come out, I feel my ip5 heat up faster and more often then before upgrade. And also my top button sometime need press 2 times to lock screen. Dunno is my button faulty or cause by ios8

I do OTA only on point release, e.g. 7.1 or 7.1.2. But for major upgrade 6 to 7 or 7 to 8, it's better to do via iTunes.

my 4s now on 5.1.1 , wanna try 8.0 but i afraid everything lag..

honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. iOS 8 is very close to iOS 7 and 4s runs 7 beautifully. Go 7 and stay there.

Ios8 seems really buggy to me. Certain apps respond sporadically. I even have to restart my phone at times.

After 5 days of using iOS 8 on my iPad mini retina (& just a day on my 5s laugh.gif), ive decided to switch back to iOS 7.1.2. The difference is huge man. At first i thought iOS 8 is fast enough on my iPad but sadly no. iOS 7.1.2 is much2 faster and snappier and not to mention much more stable than iOS 8. To me iOS 8 needs a lot of work to be done, the experience is really bad, with so many minor but noticeable bugs. (wifi, touch sensitivity, keyboard auto jump, photo upload, compatability, etc..) i hope in next update Apple will fix all of that stuff. Till then, will stick with iOS 7.1.2. nod.gif

the compatibility issue should be blame on app developer, iOS 8 is announce few month ago, yet some developer unable to release update for this major changes...

i also notice some app having strange behavior with iOS 8, but what to do, is up to the app developer to decide when to release, they know apple going to release iOS 8 yet they not well prepare

I didnt blame apps, apps is just compatibility problem. But other stuff that i mention is purely Apple's fault. Its like they rushed iOS 8. I mean there's no major difference from iOS 7, and this is what we get? Im kinda disappointed. But then again i hope next update will at least fix everything that i just said. Oh, forgot to mention the Safari apps experience in iOS 8 is also bad. Example "Open in New Tab" function is really annoying in iOS 8. Luckily they still sign in 7.1.2. Else im stuck with the unfinished iOS 8. shakehead.gif i hope Apple is still signing 7.1.2 when they release iOS 8.0.1 just in case its bad as well. laugh.gif

regarding the safari open in new tab you mentioned.

you can change the settings for it to be open in background so that u wouldn't have to switch between tabs every time u open a new tab~

Cheers~ =)

I know that. Thats not the problem. The problem is it took a while for it to actually load the "Open in New Tab" and after click, the webpage will become black then white its like its reload whenever you open a new tab. U can see the difference from iOS 7 where the transition is seamless. nod.gif

Hi iFags.

I am using iPhone 5s but still pondering over whether to update my iOS 7.1 to iOS 8. After so many complains that iOS 8 is laggy and unstable, I would like to have inputs and feedback from forummers who have already made the switch.

Thanks in advance!

my apps turn left and right screen macam slow respond
safari macam become slow...open new tab like need 1 second delay and etc etc...
