Not really, the backup in iCloud is the backup I did just before I upgraded my device to iOS 8, so the backup is in iOS7.1.2, even I tried to restore from an earlier date backup also no luck.
Luckily I upgraded using iTunes, I got a basic backup there, restore from there and slowly download back the apps from iCloud 1 by 1... ggwp

why no more photo stream in my phone photo app? i5s after update ios8.. where is my photo stream photo go??

It's still there, don't get shock same as me. Just click the photo collection instead of album.

The damn camera roll in the photo app is really something a lot of other apps connect to. Now it defaults to the damn recent photos.

For example if you try to send an image via LINE or WhatsApp, especially one taken more than a month ago, you can't do that.

I had to create separate albums for specific images for sharing and then use those apps to send it.

I hope they bring back the camera roll.

Whatsapp just got update to fix bug for the image problem. Now can send older photos.
B4 this i also can't send older photos, just can send recent photos

i update my iphone 5, all photo gone , luckily contact still there, but battery finish very fast

ios 8.0.1 available now...updating my ipad mini now..

I seem to have problems with the notification widget for Reminders (not calendar).

1. I only can see reminders that are due today in the widget at Today(NC). Are we supposed to see reminders due tomorrow too?

2. Also, when I set a reminder today for an item due tomorrow, I don't get any notification in Today(NC) when "tomorrow" comes. I need to go into the task and toggle the "remind me on a day" switch. Then the notification comes out.

Anybody facing similar issues?

If steve jobs was still here, ios 8,8.0.1 would have never seen the light, not in this state anyway. its rather disappointing with all this bugs and nonsense going around the new OS.. while in the past we could always say that apple make up their lack of hardware advancement with a good,stable and reliable software, it seems like its not the case lately. They better buck up their game else i doubt they can hold the dominance in few years time.

Seriously disappointed with iOS 8 and the amount of bugs and issues currently faced. Even with the recent 8.0.1 update, there are so many issues.

Actually I'm more disappointed with app developer. It's not like apple release iOS 8 last few weeks to all inclusive the dev. They have like till Beta 5 to make their app compatible but the updates just not rolling out fast enough. This hinder the experience of iOS 8.

After a few minutes using the apps, the screen automatically turn into sleep mode. Sigh.
