Yup. Sometimes screen cant detect..

that's what happen to me when i updated from iOS6 to 7 for my iP4s
that's why now. not gonna touch :|

I guess we need ios8.0.1 for some tweaks.

my 4s now on 5.1.1 , wanna try 8.0 but i afraid everything lag..

iOS 8.0 is horrible on my iPhone 5. Consider 7.1.2 is much more stable. There's a lot of things that don't work properly right now like:-

1. 3rd party keyboard integration bugs.
2. Safari keeps crashing.
3. Application keeps crashing
4. iPhone keeps forgetting my settings.

Et cetera.

Whoever haven't upgraded their device to iOS8.0, I advise to postpone for now until 8.0.1 is out at least.

Did you upgrade OTA or from iTunes?

i have no idea what's the fuss about don't update your iPhone 4s to iOS 8 coz it will have serious lag issue etc~

i'm using an iPhone 4s and I've updated it to iOS 8 for 2 days already and I've yet to feel the lag that people are talking about~

The first thing i noticed on my 4s is that the battery life improved a lot compared to iOS 7.1.2 and i'm not sure why.

i did not do a clean install, i updated it to iOS 8 OTA so it should means that iOS 8 does improved the battery life right? =)

Regarding the apps crashing now and then, yes i sometimes do face this issue where my app suddenly crashes. But only those app that haven't been updated to be compatible with iOS 8 will crash. My Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LINE, 9GAG, Youtube, VSCOCam, Camera+, Waze, Spotify, Mail and Safari haven't crash yet since I've updated. These are the only apps i'm using on my iPhone most of the time as i don't play games.

Performance wise, i did not feel any lag or slow startup of the apps or maybe its still within my acceptance range. I have reduce motion and increase contrast turned on like when on iOS 7.1.2 and i feel that iOS 8 is a bit smoother than iOS 7.1.2. maybe its just me~

just my opinion for those who are still on iPhone 4s and in a dilemma on whether to update to iOS 8 or not. Cheers~ =)

i have one small problem, sometime App Store "Top Chart" showing "Featured" page, have to close App Store app and open again, then it goes back to normal...

it happens again later on... anyone encounter this?

sure remove, just sync your contact with icloud first, if you worried, after sync with icloud, export it out as file (less worry since you have backup)

You mean messages thru handoff for iPad and iPhone?

Most people thinks that iOS 8 brings design changes but it's more to added functionality. Just think of it as if you are getting a new engine and interior to an existing car. From a design point, it wouldn't be a good move to change design again from iOS 7 to iOS 8 when they already had an overhaul last year.

I'm pretty satisfied with my iPhone 5s and iPad Air running iOS 8 albeit few kinks with it. It does feels like still in beta but stable enough for a daily driver. Battery improves on my 5s and Air. Apps works fine except for FB, they really need to fix few bugs for iOS 8. Some apps are still not optimized for iOS 8, hence few unwanted things here and there.

Yes. You can sync her contacts in iCloud. Or if you really want to start clean, I'd suggest you to export all her contact to vCard using MCBackup from Appstore.

iOS 8 problem with WIFI not stabil. dammit, my ipad which is still on iOS 7.1.2 is working fine on WIFI but my iPhone 5S eventhough it's connected to WIFI as it will take ages to load webpage same goes with apps that uses WIFI connection too. on 3G all is working flawlessly.

Did a quick search on the net, a lot of people complaining on the poor WIFI performance on iOS 8

Apple better release an update to fix this

Thanks for the heads-up. Will refrain updating to iOS 8 for my iPad Mini until they fix this major issue.
