so true...i was just having that same thought as well....

even if i get the most expensive IPS monitor now and fully calibrate it to produce true to life colour...
but when export it out to the internet, it's gonna be view by non-ips viewer who may claim the color is meh...

sigh...decision...decision...

anyway, im starting to catch up on the latest monitor tech and spec available and your explanation and recommendations has really help along the way djlah.

Better off with the P2415Q. 24" 4K. 60Hz. IPS panel. 1.9k on the Dell's website.

Unless you want a TN panel. Check out the samsung U28D590. 28" 4k TN. 1.6k I believe. That's the cheapest 4k display I could think of at the top of my head right now.

Very hard to find either monitor though.. Where do you guys get your monitors?

Dual Link DVI is DVI-D?

It means if our gc and monitor has all the connections, the best is use Display Port ?

I could've sworn I've seen somewhere, it listed for 1.6/1.7k for that model.It was on offer i believe. I can't remember where as I'm not too keen on that model. Hence I don't take notes where the pricing comes from    You have to survey and shop around i guess.

Hi, just need some reassurance. Never actually buy from Dell before using credit card. Since i need to provide all my credit card details tru the phone when i want to make a purchase with dell, is it safe? The sales person practically have all my info.

Lot of people buy Dell monitors. Not just monitors but other stuff as well like notebook and PC. If it wasn't safe, you surely hear of people being conned.
