also, rmb the issue i had with the power cord?

turns out i didnt plug in properly. the 3 pin side is rather deeper than what i felt when i first plug in

Still the best setup IMO. But 30" 1600p too expensive, cannot afford liao

wow....i didnt follow the monitor trend for quite some time and suprise to find dell being the favourite nowadays...what change?

@djlah why matte for working? and by working u mean??? does photo editing consider working? and why glossy good for entertainment?

for matte which dell monitor would u recommend? below 1k budget. many thanks

Or u can go for U2515H but slightly over 1k.

working meant for me is using for email, spreadsheet, words document a lot. glossy is not an idea. and yes, photo editing highly recommended matte screen. if watching only movie, glossy are good.

Both U2414H and U2415H are not 4K. Both are recommended, the main different is ratio.

Yup. Both U2414H and U2515H are not 4k monitors as mentioned by djlah.
The most significant difference between the 2 is the viewable size.

U2515H Diagonally Viewable Size: 63.44 cm | 25" (25-inch wide viewable image size)
U2414H Diagonally Viewable Size: 60.47 cm | 23.8" (31.5-inch wide viewable image size)

LCD monitor got 2 types of screen:
1. Very shining type, that can see reflections of behind things like a mirror.
2. Matt like finishing.

Dell UltraSharp U2713HM monitor is which screen?

last time i use 1200p with tn samsung and since samsung refused 2 make 1440p tn so i had 2 jumped in the dell bandwagon laugh.gif rclxms.gif

My GC is HD7950 with DVI max resolution of 2560x1600.

If i buy dell U2515H monitor with 2560x1440, can match?

modern cards are equipped with connectors that support 4K no problem

I mean d resolution. Boz gc is 1600, whereas monitor is 1440.
