As a new subscriber, I would prefer to get the VIP10 for RM179 on the spot, rather than getting VIP5 first and waiting for the VIP10 upgrade offer.

Yup, this is exactly what i want to know. is that possible? else, i would have to go through buy-vip5-then-upgrade-vip10 route.

i think there's no shortcut. you'll have to get vip5, pay your bills on time & hope they'll call you... smile.gif

i also subscribe to vip 5 for one month if not mistaken or maybe 3 week (forgot ady)..then i saw everyone bising about 169 promo. so i call tm ask about the promo..they say dont know about 169 promo but if i want to upgrade i can get 179..so i straight upgrade to vip10 rm179

but why dont u try ask them can get straight 179...maybe if u sweet talk can get 169 ? tongue.gif

Good to know that they're offering rm179 nowadays. thumbup.gif

After almost 3 yrs, they decided to call me to upgrade to vip10 @ rm179 but i refused, so they offered me rm139 for vip5 which I took up - 2 yrs deal BUT no new equipment. biggrin.gif

Anyone know how long does it usually need to wait to reactivate my unifi connection after I make payment at TM point? My connection had been terminated due to late payment. .

call them on billing department tell them u already pay at TM point can reconnect the unifi connection..

I just signed up my UNIFI, it's doom day for me.
All my other devices able to connect to Unifi router but my Macbook cannot do so even I plugged in ethernet cable still not working.
My Macbook wifi bar showed connected to my SSID but cannot access internet.

So what's the problem? I checked all the lyn posts but no solution at the end.

I tried change to 20Mhz in my router setting / switch channel to (6 or 11) / WPA2 + AES
all not working mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

Anyone know please help

It's obvious your connection is down. LAN and wirelesss is not working.

Did the technician confirmed the connection is working before they left?

You should call the technician to complain.

What's with Unifi in Subang Jaya area these days?
Slow unstable connection. Cannot get Google Docs, Facebook etc.
Have reconnected, reset base station many many times.

It's like back to the bad old congested Streamyx days.

Sigh.
