Is the download speed for Kepong area slow compare to other area?

The speed test shows 5 MBS. The actual download speed for 700 MB took over 2 hours.

Is this normal?

not server prob, either cry.gif connection problem occurred in dota was actually a type of packet loss, so there might be something wrong with the residential gateway

If I were to choose the RM179 upgrade plan without the hypptv, how do I proceed without waiting until a staff rep calls me?

As I went to a TMNet branch and was told I've to wait for the call from the center.

Well, I used their service circa 2009 and got called a few times but they were during the times I didn't consider yet.

That means I have to wait for their sales rep to call?

oh in that case you can call 1300, because when i call them they check my unifi account, according to the person on phone to talk to me for customer 1 years+ they might be able to do the upgrade RM179 for VIP10, just my 2 cents, no harm you give it a try

p/s: the person on the line (is from sales dept, i call in someone from fault dept answer, he help me to transfer to sales dept) ask me is there any TM staff call me regarding this promotion upgrade, if they ask you, you just say yes lol

I have called and check with TM and they say its actually the first bill for 1 month period after you upgrade that you will be charged for an extra fee and the subsequent month will be back to RM179. What exactly are the charges incurred called is beyond me. However i do know my previous package bill was waived away and the RM206 was just for the upgraded package. Customer Service lady wasn't entirely clear with the whole charges as i can tell English isn't her strong language in explanation.

guys, i want to install unifi in my house, however the phone wall port is quite remote from the living room, its in the kitchen (dont ask me who design this house whistling.gif)

anyway, i think need to extend for about 15 meter from the kitchen to the living room where tv is near to install HyppTV. will i be charged by the contractor for the extension or is there anyway to waive it?
