My SGs don't shiver much when they wake up. Only a little bit when they first open their eyes. But they are so cute when they sleep. I wish I could bring them to work!

Anybody here regularly brings their glider to work? Is there any workplace rule against it?

I think in general you're not allowed to bring pets to work. No one actually has a rule for it but you'd be lucky if your boss doesn't mind you bringing the gliders with you.

And I'm going to the 100Yen store tomorrow. Hopefully I'll find you the pouches or I'll find out where the other stores are located at. You should check out Sunway Pyramid. There's loads of cools stall on each floor -- they sell some pretty gorgeous drawstring pouches. RM10 per piece. It should be great for work!

Hehe the bonding process takes time. They'll grow closer to you as each day passes on la. Have they started hanging about on your shoulder and stuff? A good way to speed up the bonding process is to use a tent. Get one of those pop up tents or something and spend some time with the glider in it. Let it crawl on you and you can even hang some rope or toys for it to play with in the tent. The good thing about using a tent is that you don't have to worry about them escaping and you can sort of just relax a bit la hehe icon_rolleyes.gif

This means you need to work on the bonding process. Once it's more bonded to you, it won't jump off of your shoulder. It might crawl about your entire body but it won't jump off of you. Sometimes it might jump off just to glide for instance, mine loves jumping from me to the curtain and then back to me again. But most of the time, when I'm walking around the house preparing his food, he stays on me. I posted some links to some articles with regards to working on the bonding process -- check out the previous pages for the links.

Cage size for a pair of gliders -- height is important for them. 3ft and above would be good. You can go to Pets Safari to get a cage, it'll cost you RM100. These are all bird cages, really. You can also go to Natural Aquatic in Subang, the price is RM110-RM140. If you go to Jalan Pasar in KL, there's Irene's Aquarium (not the one in PJ!), she sells cages at a cheap price. Make sure the cage bars are not more than 1 inch apart or your glider might escape.

Owner need to have a lot of patience with their glider. Push them too much, they will be scared of you. Just be patient and slowly gain their trust.

I have got a feeling that my Sugus is carrying at least one joey in her pouch....

I have seen her pouch grew the past few weeks and last night, I hold her and felt something on either side of her pouch!!!!

Keeping my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Wah, my glider chewed through his pouch and my dad threw the pouch. I didn't know as I was asleep, then when I woke up, I was like ' Where's my pouch?!'

He ran into my dining area and hid on top of my curtains. Had such a fit at my dad. lol

Finally found him when my maid said she saw a big mouse with a long tail in the dining room.

Aww! So adorable! Gliders are even good with cats. Well, my maine coon really has no interest in BabyBoy. My cat will allow the glider to roam all over him -- and no reaction also! But hamsters cannot la...could be the smell factor -- gliders are odourless. Hehe.

Oh...today BabyBoy peed on my shirt. sweat.gif Their urine stinks of burnt paper or something. laugh.gif
