I got GuildWars...

But it's SOOOO laggy...

Does anyone know if it has to do with my IP being 219.95.xxx?

Argh, this sucks big time ! I can't even play. I'm on the American Server I think.

Will it help if I switch to the Taiwan / Japan / Korea servers? Is there even such a server? How do I switch?

Please help me. I feel like I just wasted A LOT of money !

Thanks so much...

usually i got for 218.*.* ip, but currently even that oso lag, but no so bad till cannot play.

It wasn't like this before. The lag problem jsut started to happen around a week ago. Apparently TMNut has been messing around with some 'upgrades' to Streamyx doh.gif

Just hope that it'll be better after they finish (which should be around the 15th). I find it more playable with minimal lag in the mornings 8am+.

the problem isnt tmnet...its guild wars...ur not the only 1 lagging around recently

not exactly, at different ip.. connection perfomance can be a huge different. Sometimes while my fellow local guildmates are lagging, I'm going fine. Most of the time i get a bad lag.. i just reconnect my router.

muhahaha.... I'm back... been in guild forum most of the time... last time GWP is smooth, maybe because not many people playing it? now getting popular so server cannot cope? unsure.gif

hope both party GW and TMnet do something about it... tongue.gif

@disket
what event is that? in-game event?

monks or warrior imo..monk is quite popular but it is hard to play..but for warrior, it is the easiest class to play but lack in popularity comparing to monk..

moreover, i recommend not to play assassin first coz unless you are lucky, it is hard to get group with assassin unless you plan to solo your game throughout the whole game..tongue.gif

warrior will be the easiest to play especially if u get monk as secondary.
ranger is not bad either coz u can get a pet so extra help early in the game.

assassins takes a bit of work to learn how to play correctly so not really recommended as first char

anyway if u need help can pm me ingame, my IGN is on my sig smile.gif

If i buy nightfall, do I still have the access to travel to faction map?

No, you can't go to Cantha (Factions) if you only buy Nightfall.
