Heard that the gameplay "so so" but the pvp is intresthing compare to wow. What really make this game cool is FREE monthly charge and creator are from ex blizzard worker.  drool.gif
*
gameplay "so so" is very subjective. To me, PvE in factions is Fun!!! I still can't get enough of it even after i completed the story mission with my 2nd character. biggrin.gif

Contact me ingame and prob could do something together smile.gif

You won't get to play Tyrian missions, explore Sorrow's Furnace and Ruins of the Tomb of the Primeval Kings.

Since you can change server for a max of 5 times, EU or US version has no differences besides the box art.

you can't play this game with a gamepad, there's won't be enough buttons on it tongue.gif GW is using the basic WASD controls for movement.

You won't get to play assassin and ritualist professsion if you do not own factions.

According to anet, Nightfall is focus strongly on PvE content.. so if you are a junky for storyline, lore and roleplaying.. i recommend that you get Nightfall.

the problem isnt tmnet...its guild wars...ur not the only 1 lagging around recently

not exactly, at different ip.. connection perfomance can be a huge different. Sometimes while my fellow local guildmates are lagging, I'm going fine. Most of the time i get a bad lag.. i just reconnect my router.

Got this from our local sept pcgamer
QUOTE
Error codes 058 and 005 indicate you're not getting through to the server. Is your firewall getting in the way? GW.EXE and GWSETUP.EXE should be listed as allowed programs. Check by disabling the firewall and seeing if GW now works. If it does, go into Program Control or Exceptions menu to add these .exe files.

The next suspect is your router. Guild Wars needs TCP ports 6112 and 80 forwarded in order to work - easily done by following the guides at the excellent www.portforward.com. Just follow the steps to set a fixed IP on your PC and then look up your specific model of your router to find out how to get it working. If GW still doesn't work, you may well be the owner of a Netgear WG614 - the original firmware doesn't like GW very much, and while it's possible to update it you may find easier to adjust the configuration testings.

Port forwarding covers the basics, but you'll also need to go into Port Forwarding/Port Triggering menu on the left hand side of the screen, select Port Triggering and uncheck the entry for Starcraft. Then, click Apply, go into the WAN Setup screen and check the opction for Disable SPI Firewall before hitting Apply. If there's more than one computer you'll need to make a final visit to the uPnP menu, make sure that Turn uPnP On option is checked. Have one final click on Apply and Guild Wars should now connect.

Hope it helps

I henched THK, and Hell's Pericpice b4 biggrin.gif It's really tricky, u need to master on how to pull carefully and gettin ur henchies to fallback. Henching missions will be easier once we are able to set waypoints.
