Please don't have such a reaction. The end is really depending on the church being build up or the Bride being prepared.

So, do experience Christ more and enjoy Him so that you grow to be a mature One fit for rapture.

Other than that, we still live as proper human being on this earth.

I take the word literally.

I thought we gotta be alert and be prepared anytime because the judgement day / second coming of Jesus can comes without any sign / warning. No one knows when (Matthew 24:36)

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare." 2 Peter 3: 10

"For you know quite well that the day of the Lord's return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night." 1 Thes 5: 2

1000 years ago a lot of people believe it's the end of the world due to the black plague. Tunggu Jesus. Yet we are still here 1000 years later.

It may look like it's coming true now, but mana tahu plot twist. Then 500 years later our descendants read back and go 'Jeez why do people believe that? It hasn't come to pass also."

Parable of the Fig Tree

Matthew 24:32, Jesus says this:

"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things
be fulfilled."

Israel became a nation in 1948. Not long to go.

all the verses above speak about the rapture of the church. NOT the 2nd coming of Christ.

In fact, we r told exactly when is the 2nd coming of Christ......at the end of the 7 yrs of tribulation when Christ finally sets foot on the Mount of Olives.

we r definitely not in the 1st half of the tribulation. it will b a very different world then.

the tribulation is called Daniel's 70th week. (refer to the book of Daniel)

it is also a time of God's judgement of the unrepentant gentile world.

interesting. suddenly something cross my mind. what if israel as a nation need to be whole first before the Coming? meaning all the land where the palestinieans still sit need to be re-taken by the israelites first. and jordan and lebanon too i think.

if thats the the case its not gonna be by peaceful means. israel must use force to retake those lands. it may trigger a big war then.

rest assured, thr WILL b WAR breaking out in the middle east. spiritual Israel is DEAD at this point in time. when the 7 years kick in, they wil eventually turn their face back to the Almighty God . there will of course be a price to pay in all these.

refer to the verses Matt 24:15-20 . there's a mention about heading/fleeing to the hills with just the clothes on their backs. this is at the mid-trib point.

and finally, Zechariah 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city .

I need to admit that this is the first time I got to know about this word 'capture'. Gotta study more the difference first.

Wah ... I thought I was pessimistic about the condition in Christianity and the Lord's coming back will be delayed. Like 14-9 mentioned on the fig tree, in Matthew 24, Lord gave a clear revelation concerning the restoration of Israel.

In verse 32 the Lord said, "But learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near." To the saints, the fig tree is a sign of the consummation of the age. In Matthew 21:19, during His last visit to Jerusalem, the Lord Jesus cursed a fig tree because He could not find any fruit on it.

The fig tree is a symbol of the nation of Israel (Jer. 24:2, 5, 8). Because Israel was stubborn and rebellious and had no fruit that could satisfy God, she was rejected by God. In A.D. 70, Titus, the Roman prince, brought with him a great army to destroy Jerusalem and the temple, as prophesied by the Lord when He said, "A stone shall by no means be left upon a stone which shall not be thrown down" (Matt. 24:2). From that time, the children of Israel were scattered among the nations. Not only did their nation fall, but even their homeland was lost. Humanly speaking, there was truly no hope for the nation of Israel to be reformed. However, the Bible contains a prophecy saying that one day the cursed and dried up fig tree would become tender and put forth leaves.

Two events really shows the tree truly had "become tender."

1) 1948 the nation of Israel had been restored
2) Then, after another nineteen years, in 1967, during the six-day war, Israel seized Jerusalem; that was the fig tree "putting forth leaves."

Only left is the temple to be built up.

The last time I posted on the red heifer in that the animal was thought to be extinct. Now they managed to produce one in US and have contacted the Temple Institute.

This is the picture of the Lord's vicarious death for our sins in the type of the ashes of the red heifer (Numbers 19).

I mean the Jews are definitely preparing everything and doing everything for the rebuilding of the temple.

But it's true we will never know when .... it will happen as always unexpectedly regardless those 1000 websites guessing who the Anti Christ is or when it will end etc etc.

A true Christ follower wont even contemplate suicide unless its something to do with redemption, like sampson case. I'd say no.
