Do they have saving account such as bank rakyat?

I always use this method..worked so far

Me to bank manager : - u want to make things difficult for u n me ? I withdraw fund to another bank, then I make a fresh application by transferring the money back here. However, if I m pissed, I may not come back here again after transferring the money out.

Just opened new i-FD under "same" promotion by withdrawing from saving account, the interest rate distribution is different but effective rate is still 3.73% in the brochure, the distribution is as follows:
Month
1,2 - 3.2%
3,4 - 3.25%
5 - 3.5%
6 - 6%

Above is as stated in the FD cert. The branch is Maybank Islamic.

My plan was place some in MBB and some in RHB. So I transfer to each other account lor. RHB funds I go deposit at MBB Merdeka Promo. Then MBB funds I transfer to RHB use for the 15-mth 4.1% promo. Luckily earlier FDs there mature almost same time .. so ngam ngam timing la.

Sometimes do bump into "stick-in-the-mud" officers, then say something like " I know it's bank's rules & you have to follow it , may i speak to someone who has the authority to re-look this issue?"

Also tried this before & it worked. smile.gif
Withdraw the money in cash. Then re-bank in the same amount, but vary the quantum, even if it's a small amount, say +- RM 2 .
