umm..just now got the red light...but its not blinking...then cheak evrything...owh...the tv cable is not plug in propely...then...still blinking..cheaking again..owhh...the adapter not plug in propely..then try on again.no more red light...

after the most recent update my 360 also very the slow connecting to LIVE. most of the times after i quit any games my LIVE will be DC also. before the updates no such thing lah.

Had 3ROD experience just now, but I don't think it was my 360 at fault.

My room lights started to blink, then the whole house went blackout for a split second and the 3ROD appeared! It scared the shit out of me.

erm, so either we stick lead-free solders for a better future environment and risk 3RoD, or we replace them with lead-based solders and further poison our planet. decisions...decisions...

Latest victim from 3ROD Didn't turn on my xbox360 for a week++. When I turned it on last weekend, it prompted for dashboard update. This update took longer than i thought (almost 1/2 hour for it to complete). After completed, it rebooted. Didn't notice anything abnormal at that time. The following day, turned on my xbox to prepare for some gaming. Then it started to hang occasionally (with checkerbox graphic). 3ROD appeared after that. Sometimes can boot into dashboard (which eventually will hang after a short gaming session), sometimes it will juz blink 3ROD.

Has anyone been able to claim warranty replacement from MS SG? Can we go direct to MS SG? I'm afraid going through local store will take months. Btw, my xbox360 is unmodded, bought from TNL.

if u have relatives in SG, ask them to do the warranty claim from u. i believe it'll be easier

Do you know what sort of info/items need to be presented in order to claim warranty replacement? E.g. receipt (sigh.. malaysia's shop receipt, don't think they will accept that) And is it a one-to-one replacement on the spot?

ermm, previously when i claim from MS HK. what they asked me was the serial number of the xbox360

Serial number only? No questions asked?
Did they give u a new xbox360 on the spot as replacement? My worry is if they found out it's purchased outside of SG, then they will not entertain you.
