Sifus, wanna ask a question. How to distinguish red wash and natural red color? I got a bi color betta - red and blue. So, in that case, he would not have red wash since his natural color is red? Same case, Cambodian or extended red betta has no red wash? Appreciate any explanation.

When do they show red wash? I heard that they only show at old age. How to prevent? Food can help?

Hi guys...

Sigh... First and foremost, my wild betta breeding program failed terribly.... My red HMPK project, also floundering... Couple that with the heavy load of work i've been given now, I think i need to put betta keeping in cold storage

The first thing i noticed, the fishes are not doing well in the water here in Teluk Intan... No matter what treatment i used, they just die....

Just go to local fish shop and tell them you want a pack of Japanese yellow powder. It is about RM3.00 - RM3.50 per pack biggrin.gif

These are the survivors of my reds.... Can some one please tell me why do my fish look like this (The center one, which has been focused on)? This is not the best pic, because the flash actually reduces the sheen intensity of the speckles.... And it is all my HMPKs that are like that... None of my longfin survivors have this speckling... They are either ext. reds, cambos, marbled red, or butterflies....

Please help.... I lost 80% of my spawn... And all of my best specimens to some blasted disease....
