hey guys, my 2 months old betta (2 months since i bought it la) suddenly today showed symptoms of fin rot. so i quickly went n change the water. put salt, anti chlorine n all.

but now, within a couple of hours. it's conditions changed drastically to the worst. it's whole body is turning pale n it's just floating around at the bottom of the tank. what's wrong with it?

i'm quite saddened about this. i think it's not going to make it pass the night.

just a few minutes after this, it died. sigh...

oh cool...now i get it. So do u have any stock? or know anyone have some? hehe.

Update on PK Le Bleu II.

He's a-okay right now. Fed him some pea flesh (take some frozen peas, cook them, peel the skin and feed him mashed up bits of the flesh inside) and he's been pooping. Swims just fine now. Since he's prone to getting constipation, I think I'm going to feed him some pea once a week together with his pellets and FD bloodworms.

Hi, I spawned my betta for 2nd time. For the 1st time, all of the fries died properly due to hunger. I fed them with fluid food (small bottle type) but I had absolutely no idea if they really consumed it. This time, I bought the BBS cyst but the hatching rate is appaling. Plus, it is very expensive - RM18++ for a small bottle (like Eye-Mo size). I live in Ipoh, anyone knows where to get microworms or other fry food around Ipoh?

Thanks a lot. Also, I would appreciate if someone tell me where can I buy show quality betta in Ipoh? I always buy from a LFS in Ipoh Garden but their fish quality fluctuate a lot.

hell no... direct tap water have chlorine, that's definitely a no no for bettas... unless u are pumping well water
