Hi Jit, do you think feeding bettapro can help the fin rot problem?

Attach some new blue photo that you want to see.

I have tried quite a lot of times. Plakat is OK but it ate my neon fish at night. Halfmoon is NO NO... Its fin were all torn apart. I am not sure if it is due to fighting or being bullied. For your information, my community tank consists of neon, clown loach, sterbai coridoras and some small river prawns.

I am now keeping all my betta separately. They will reward you by more stunning fin. But I think it is still Ok to keep them with corydoras.

its the same. but sometimes bettas do live well together with other bettas even if it is not their brother or sister.

apart from using ketapang leaves,i read that driftwood and peat can also be used to simulate Black water. i wonder how to use them since i dont have ketapang leaves, but i already do have driftwoods and peat.
anyone knows how?

hi, if u r buying the packet size one then it is good to use one packet for one 4' tank, then it wil drop the pH to around 5-5.something, which is best for bettas, but peat definetly will make the water brownish, so if u refer to my pic b4, i put some active carbon in the top filter then the water wil b crystal clear aldi laugh.gif ketapang leaf wil drop the pH to around 6 only. if 2' tank then use half of the peat from the packet. one easy way to save cost is u steal the stocking from ur wife then put the peat inside, after that just sew it, and then hide the pack under the wood or sand....up to u la....hahaha just some idea only, correct me if i am wrong.... notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
