I use km/L because it's simpler to me.

just divide km travelled by amount of petrol used = km/L.
don't need to do fancy maths to obtain L/100km or how many sen per km all those stuff

EB turbo saya baru dapat dr proton terus isi minyak rm100 dari tanda warning, tp boleh jalan dalam 260km sahaja. 100% jalan bandar kota kinabalu. EB memang boleh jalan sejauh ni saja ka? Dasyat sangat la.

Sen/km is inaccurate, since petrol price fluctuate.

Agreed, I don't understand why lots of people use sen/km or "how often I visit the pump" as a gauge for fuel consumption.

When I try to explain to them why it's illogical, they would just think I'm crazy lol

Memang when EB brand new, fuel consumption is really terrible. I remember mine being around 6-7km/L for the first tank.

For me I average around 8.5km/L for 100% city drive currently

meaning for highway drive, this is a good and powerful car to drive along with "reasonable" fc about 13.5/L on 110km/h....

however if fully city drive, this is not the car for you...am i right to put it this way?

Based on my experience, I think this is true.

Seems like the EB is more suited for highway driving rather than city driving

yeah, that's why my 26 month EB just clock 30000KM. lucky got company car for everyday used.

This car need to be driven light footed. Highway is easier.

meter display lepas isi minyak atau lepas isi minyak dapat drive 260km pastu kena isi lagi? kalau meter display mmg mcm tu, pasai ecu masih nk biasakan dgn gaya pemanduan pemandunya... mungkin pemandunya sebelum ni agak ganas -- masa kat kilang kot...

kalau rm100 baru dapat jalan 260...memang kuat gasak.
I biasa pump rm70 dapat jalan lebih kurang 250km

Yeah. remap ecu and see. Optimize AF ratio.

Update on my problem

They just called me. They done the 40k km service interval. Tomorrow special service team will be sent to the SC to inspect whole car, rectify and fix. Feels like king liao

Maybe next week only can get the car. Luckily my son is on semester break, borrow 'his' car at the moment

problems so serious until they gotta call in special service team to rectify it?

The taktaktak sound from dashboard already complaint at 30k service, they say they fix the broken aircond thing inside the dashboard, but the sound is still there when I receive the car. So I told them to fix this annoying sound this time.

The suspension giving funny sound comes from all direction, front right left, rear right left. And guess what my son told me when he driving behind me at night, sparks come out from under the car everytime I travel at bumpy road

Hopefully I get back my car in good condition, if not I will change perception towards Proton.

for that RM100 i can get 550-600KM.
